Anyway I suppose yalls example of 'no notice nessacary' is a new rule ?

*facepalms* Oh give it up kiddo and let the thread get back on your intended track. Notices were clearly given in those few sparse screenshots provided and I was simply taking them because the force being thrown at us was so imposing that I wanted to get in a ololol final moment shot, not because I thought that I would be made to defend myself in whats become an utterly pathetic "Oh no I died because I split off from my group, didn't share bots/bats and failed to win despite bringing a vastly larger force" thread.

I mean, good grief, we had been trading barbs back in forth across system for the duces. You guys brought together a small fleet at Norfolk, then dropped out of the lanes and flew across space towards the badlands and, what, were suddenly surprised that combat ensued?

It's like a man shouting he's going to punch you in the face, you acknowledge it, walk across a parking lot to him shouting back and forth insults and threats and, upon reaching him, he tells you he's going to punch you now.

Then you get punched.

Then you scream about not being warned?

When, for god's sake, you guys engaged -us-.

Heavens above son. Heavens above.

So, does anyone have any ponders on solaris turrets?

How many times does the commander of your the group, in this case McNeo, (who was flying the Maryland) need to say that you attacked first?

What has been said earlier, Cruisers are meant to be BATTLESHIP killers, not anti fighter boats.

They are fast and long range for a reason, once you get in close a battleship, you're pretty much dead anyway.
I know this from experience, that cruisers at extreme range can kill a battleship without much effort.

And yet the LN still tries their damned best to RP, I like that.

The "OMFG LAWFUL PIGDOG DAI" pirates annoy me. They make my job difficult, especially when we cross paths... Nothing like getting a cap and 2 VHFs dropped onto you by another pirate.

All you need is 6 Cerberus turrets. Work just like 12 Primaries. Strap on Solaris/Artillery for the rest, and you're set champ.

Don't QQ cause you suck at capital ships. I'm a boss with 'em.

I should drop like, codenames and **** every time I'm killed. It's an RPG all over again.

Sorry for the rage, but I was expectin to pop out of cruise and engage in some RP, not walk into a field of SNACs

Hell with it I should sell my LN, its not like you get to RP with a LN ship anyway.

maybe it would be courteous to let the player know ina private message you placed a bounty on them, because the players that come do not rp the encounter, and it really is justa random gank. honestly, anyone could claim some one else placed a bounty, but i dont think prior said bounty should justify a blindside sucker punch. because int he end, the player collecting the bounty in my opinion should be under obligation to RP, rather than gank.

wanted to say somthing about it last week when you did the same thing to me and my friend that was on the dragon when we were outside the badlands.

only other thing i'd like to add is that it would be much wiser and a much more mature way to handle warning a player about rule breaking, doing it on an admin character rather than private messaging them with a sanction threat on a play character.

Just fought the outcasts in my outcast (yes outcast) battleship. If I had solaris' they would all be dead by now considering they were tightly around me and my basic turrets were JUST behind them, too slow I'm sure the solaris turrets would have raped them at this close distance...they are fine leave them...

Actualy Ill defend them here, I saw the reapers thread that Del did placing the bounty.

That said, noone in the group wanred anyone that it was them we were facing, we just were responding to a distress call far as I knew.
