And i honestly think we should due a trial run of this.

When one considers that two of the Zoner factions actively hate each other and are basically locked in a bloodless war (and i'm sure that if they were allowed to shoot each other they would), this is the stupidest damn idea ever.

EDIT: I also happen to love the double standard applied to Zoners.
They are both a cohesive whole (when they want to be powerful), and no group at all, just a bunch of ragtags with no leadership (when tehy want to avoid responsibility for other zoners actions).

shooting a zoner is one thing. Shooting a zoner with zoner guns and in a zoner ship with a freelancer pirate id and then docking at our base Things like this Should not require all 3 zoner factions.

You are correct.
They require a sanction for 6.10 (and a bounty or two for illegal tech use).
Moreover, while it may be time-consuming to do so, i'm sure you could send a heads-up to the hosue police about stolen ships.
They might do something about it.

The pentabarf is slap full of people that we would fr5 them if we could but instead we get a reason to shoot at people inside baffin.

Majority of the time we contract mercs or hunters or who ever.

The other half the time im running around on my indi zoner enforcing the pentabarf under a non TAZ flag so it don't look as bad ]=-)

The problem with all this, is, of course, the disparate nature of the freeports.
One does not neccessarily hold the same ideals or thoughts or beliefs of the others.
A junker's basically a junker; an Interspace Commerce captain is an Interspace Commerce captain, a Corsair is a Corsair, a pirate a pirate.
Zoners are more-or-less freelancers, but they own bases.
So you get all these disparate roles and characters and rp ideals bundled into one id and group, which is okay, but then you give them all these bases, with each base having it's own seperate neighbors and groups and friends and enemies and whatnot, and yet an fr5 for one base ends in an fr5 for all, due to them all flying the same npc faction.
It's bunkered up under the best of circumstances (CoZ, everbody working together in peace and happiness) but in modern disco, it's like a hobo.
It smells, looks bad, doesn't work, and probably drank all your booze.

In that case...

All freeports should be Freelancer Bases, not Zoner bases - with some some exceptions - as in, Omicron 74, Baffin, maybe a couple others.
