"James.... Who is that?" Lambert looked over as Pita walked in, taking a seat on the arm of the couch. "She looks like she needs a blanket."
He decided there was no reason to hide anything from the girl, so he was completely honest with her, speaking in a hushed tone so as not to wake Chloe.
"Well Pita, this is Chloe. I've met her a few times in space, she's a Gallic," he quickly corrected himself, "A... err... friendly Gallic."
He looked at her, flashing back to the early days with her, months ago. "We were having a nice chat, and then we had a rather... unpleasant encounter with an unfriendly Nomad. You remember them, right? Like that one... Aenima?
"Well, some friendly Nomads came along in the nick of time and saved us. But she didn't have anywhere to go so I brought her back here." He shrugged. "It just... seemed the nice thing to do."
Pita seemed un-phased by the mention of Gallia, but almost flinched when Aenima was mentioned.
"How long will she be staying here?" Pita asked. She looked at the woman thoughtfully before telling Lambert she would be back in a moment and running off to her room. She returned with a yellow blanket and lay it carefully across the woman, trying not to wake her.
"Its a special blanket. It keeps the monsters like Aenima away." she smiles before sitting on the arm of the couch again.

Lambert smiled at Pita's heartfelt gesture.
"That's very nice of you, Pita. I'm sure she appreciates it."
He sighed, looking out the window where snow was now lightly falling, and tried to gather his thoughts. "I reckon she'll be here overnight, but probably not much longer. She has work to get back to, I'd imagine."
"That's very nice of you, Pita. I'm sure she appreciates it."
She shrugged with a smile and looked across at the woman again She knew all too well what it was like. She still felt guilty when she thought about killing the DSE) man.
"That thing has left me alone for a little while now..... She can borrow it.... Only while she's here though." She added. Pita wasn't ready to give it up yet, while it was only a blanket it made her feel safe. It was comforting, especially when she had nightmares.
"I reckon she'll be here overnight, but probably not much longer. She has work to get back to, I'd imagine."
She nods with a slight frown while she was thinking. "Do you think she will play a game with me when she wakes up?" Pita asked sounding hopeful. While she was still cautious of strangers, the work Lambert had put in with Pita and the people she was meeting with him was slowly making her see not everyone was a bad person.
"Do you think she will play a game with me when she wakes up?"
Lambert smiled. She was quickly beginning to grow more comfortable around relative strangers, which was a very good thing in his book. The fact that she was willing to share her special blanket was a big step, for her.
"I think she just might be up for doing that, especially since she has your blanket to protect her," Lambert said, wanting to encourage Pita despite not having a clue whether Chloe would want to play a game. "What game did you have in mind?"
"Do you think she will help build a fort?" She grinned before adding "You can help too if you wanted."
Lambert smiled. That actually sounded kind of fun.
Pita stood again, heading to the kitchen for some juice. He glanced over at Chloe, covered with the blanket on the couch. She looked rather dead to the world, and a wave of exhaustion passed over Lambert in response.
"Pita..." he called to her. "Let's save the fort for the morning. I'm tired... been a long day."
He hated to disappoint her, but his body's desperate cry out for sleep demanded precedence over the blanket fort.
Pita returned with some juice and shrugged. She knew Lambert worked hard and needed sleep.
"Yeah.... Alright."
Pita still didn't like the idea of going to bed. While Lambert had managed to scare most of the monsters away during the day she couldn't get rid of the nightmares she was having.
"Can we do it tomorrow then?" She asked hopefully.
Pita sat on the arm of the couch again and looked to be deep in through for a moment before looking at Lambert.
Lambert froze for a moment, unsure of how to react. He had sincerely hoped Pita would have forgotten about Buster and the other Rogues by now.
"Uh... I'm not sure how but... if you really want to... I guess."
He had given his word on the subject, during that raid which now seemed a lifetime ago. Buster, the Rogue, was probably one of the last people he wanted to see, or have Pita see, but he supposed if he were there, it might not be too dangerous for her.
"Oh and yeah... we can make the fort tomorrow."
He yawned and stretched, thinking it was about time for bed.
She stops and thinks for a moment, deciding how to say what it was she had on her mind.
"He isn't a bad man. Even though he is a Rogue."
She grins when he says they could make the fort tomorrow before yawning. Trying to hide the fact she was sleepy herself. She leant back on the arm of the couch, falling off it onto the seat of the couch giving herself a fright.
