I have dealt with Patriot's, Wellington char and he seemed like nice guy and Rp'ed well. Not sure what is going on with battleship issue. But would like to also chime in on what Shigeo says about people that diliberately flame the poster. I refer to the 3rd, 5th & 6th posts in this thread. Obviously the guy is upset, maybe alittle maturity is in order and Admins should get involved, especially since one of the posters is a faction leader. This whole thread justs is unsettling. I hope the server/forum gets back into the "lets have fun" and backs off with the strictness thats seems more prevelent lately.

Maturity? It shows maturity to take five minutes and ask the appropriate authorities for permission to buy your ship so you're not instantly launched into a deathtrap and end up an Out of Roleplay fugitive. Really, all of this could easily be avoided if people would cooperate.

The maturity I was referring to was the cute little flame pics at start of the thread directed at the originator. I could care less about the battleship rp problem, I dont own one (battleship) and dont need the headaches that go with it. I am here to "try" to enjoy myself. I read the forum to keep up on current status of issues etc etc. And threads like this are not enjoyable.

eppy might be bit blunt but it gets the point across. to bad we're on internet tho where most of people don't give a crap. But he's right tho, and it seems to work for Outcast. I'ld prolly just look for another faction thats more acceptable for me if i wouldn't "find" myself in the faction where I wanted to go.

So, Well, have you tried any other factions, other than one with the ubercool capship? Or you chose it just for that reason?

Patriot, Good on you for trying to work with the BS, instead of against them.
I salute you for your effort in trying to work it through. I hope you are able to
work it out so that you can fly the ship without hostilities.

I want to add something I picked up. If you are a scientist, I don't believe you
should be called Admiral. In Real life both of those careers take an extremely
long time to grow. If you are a military Admiral WITH scientists onboard that
is a different story and perfectly ok IMHO. However I dont think a Scientist
can be an "admiral".

I'm willing to be corrected of course.:)

I am an Admiral in Bs| and lead the Order's research vessel. Althought I'm not an actuall scientist I have another Bs| member take up that role.

Well he got a Nephthys now rather than the Osiris and he seems to be developing his character, so it seems to be working out, we'll see.

HMMM all i got to say is wrong.
I did this many month's ago. Got my 800mil, transfered to a new char,(with a name very well known to all corsair's at time), purchased my osiris, and was making my rep corsair.
What happened you say? Hoodlum showed up said buy corsair ID now, or scrap ship. Since i could not buy ID as i was not 100% green ship is now gone/800mil gone. Reason i was given? ID first, ship second.
Sooo having that ship without the ID/TAG is enough for you to loose it without any warning from an admin.

You gave the screen's to your own death mate.
(no hard feeling's to any admin. i was wrong,and i know it. was just an example from my own EXP)
