I would love to see you guys build up a faction on one of the unpopular trading factions, seeing as there is already quite a big present of unlawful factions present.
Perhaps Synth Inc. could use your hard work? Which most likely would make a rise for the LWB and others in return. Seeing as you guys have +20 active members, this would be beneficial for the community too, and perhaps give ya'll a good way to learn certain forum/ingame mechanics/etiquette.
Think about it. Not saying you guys should do it, or pick Synth for that matter, but might be interesting. Trading is always just a small part, just look at some of the things I'm trying to get working for ALG, or how USI has under-the-table dealings with the XA. My last two cents.
Every faction has its haters, only some are louder that others. If you want an example of some of ours the easiest way is to just stick "Melbourne Station" in the search box, I think we've been openly engaged by every faction in Liberty except the LPI- and yes I didn't forget to put [LN] and =LSF= on that list, I have a good memory for dodgey actions and I'll never forget the morning I had to quickly jump online because our brand new and authorised base was being destroyed by the =LSF= who were also openly engageing any vessle with an SFC| tag in the area. The only thing I could suggest is to try and take the criticism constructively rather than take it to heart. I think the main reasons people dislike you as a faction have been higlighted in this thread, assumeing you sift though all the ones from people who are obviously taking it to far.
I would also point out, although it is nice to see some of your members do want to try and fix things, it also seems some of them may need to be told to either think twice before they comment or not do it at all. Appart from the people directly connected to you, the vast majority of people will look at what you say on the forums rather than ingame, and if there are incidents of people pushing the boundries (That issue with the Judge.Reaver is a good one, that should have been done quietly to the admins not publicly infront of everyone in what accounts to nothing but trial by forum. But then opening the topic AGAIN after an admin locked it previously, it doesn't do you any favours) or posts that come across obnoxious or hate filled then people are going to think a lot less of you for it, even if they haven't seen you ingame. Although I'm sure you could go back on my posts and see some examples from myself that can be seen making the same mistakes, and as a result I now proof-read all the comments I make and click the red cross if I think I'm just being an idiot.
As I said in my previous post I haven't really seen activity from you in order to judge your ingame actions, which in itself is rather worrying considering I must see you on a daily basis. I'd have to hang around your guys more often I guess in the hope of actually seeing you in action, that is assumeing you still want feedback.
The inability for anyone in the faction to succinctly explain who they are and what they do speaks volumes; far more than the replies (or lack thereof) to any other questions raised in this thread

Yes, you did lose some control over the thread. If one person is going to speak for the faction, then that one person should be doing all the talking. Either you do it, or Logan, but not the both of you. (Personally I'd rather it was you, since he comes across as paranoid and accusatory.)
Addendum: I'm told that you're often using Teamspeak when in game. Well, unless you're roleplaying over voice chat, then don't use it. If you just want to talk to your gaming buddies, don't bother logging onto the Discovery server. Voice comms should only really be required during some kind of fleet operation, and as we all know, the Judges neither have a fleet nor do they have group operations outside of training sessions. Talk in group chat - or even local chat - instead. Get used to typing, and get used to communicating with the other inhabitants of the server in the same way that everyone else does.
You guys may not know this but the group who call themselves the judges are in fact an old admin group from another vanilla server where the admin were actually called Judges one of them being Logan seems to have brought the idea of the group over here and has continued the group here.
On disco they seem to camp Newark and don't add anything to the server environment or RP well the judges did this on their own vanilla server, all they did was camp Newark all day long.
Now Judges I know your old server is gone but you ain't the admin on this server so don't see why you need to continue the same group dynamic here, as a an admin group the name Judges is fine but for a group that is now a cliche on a RP server this name or ideal will not suffice.
Adapt or die are my words to you, change your group name find a RP niche and fill it.

1. Instead of just accepting you did something, and moving on to improve from that, you say "no, we didn't do that", and give your own twisted reality of what happened, in order to put yourselves in a better light. Sort of what Ash had to say...

Constructive criticism, however backhanded it may be, is only constructive if you don't argue with or deny any opinions put forward.
2. The point raised by someone about some of the Judges being rule lawyers who don't even understand the rules has been proven in this thread, in regards to that one post concerning freelancers collecting bounties on The Judges.

Haha I knew I remembered you guys from somewhere the first time I heard you had arrived here.
Quite clearly these judges mean something to you as you have continued them here, although not under the same premise. I believe you want to keep your old RAW Group alive but freelancer is dying so Disco seems the logical destination.
But what you cannot do is continue the old vanilla ways here this is not a vanilla pvp server where you camp Newark or FP9 all day and do some fights slapping on a FL id dont make it right either.
There is no eagle with tizzy s and nomad blasters to mount etc etc although I understand why you still use eagles as your main ships.
Fact is you have to partake in the RP universe, you need to trade fight your way through the server not just sit on the wall.
Forget this old nostalgia of chillin in your eagles on Newark chatting all day doing nothing, Vanilla is dead and gone. So the old ways arent acceptable here!
if you want to do that make another RAW Server otherwise get RP Identity and start RPing.
If mercs come to collect bounties on you and your sitting at Newark doing nothing they have every right to kill you and claim bounty, you guys sitting there doing nothing is a good example of where you fail in this server.
Coz no normal player would do that he would run or fight, if your lack of RP means you sit there b***ching at your attackers and rule lawyering them, then your group deserves to be kicked off the server, so sought it out bro............
Tonto, I value you as a player. You're cool, calm and collected. I can relate seeing as I don't particularly show those traits here.
However, I'm a firm believer in the lore of this specific server. The ones the devs run gauntlet on everyday due to people not liking how the game masters are making the game. People come here to play their game but many of you, Judges included, come here to impose your own version of role play. Rogues who contest what the lore states and get away with it, Freelancers who aspire to be something they clearly are not and wouldn't have the authority they think they do. Personally I think the Judges should be an LPI spin-off.
All I have seen the Judges do is annoy everyone but their own group. A bounty was placed on you by me through the LR- as a lot of people found that your group is friendly with -everyone- and players were getting fed up with you guys making NY your very own Connecticut and not having any opportunity to silence your annoying activities. You call NY training RP? How I would find it fitting is that if you were so elite, you'd have planet side training facilities. Not mess with peoples metagaming with your blue messages, and generally not fitting in witht he lore of this server.
Logan came to us to resolve the bounty, we sat and listened (Me and Widow) to his reasoning's. I spoke about how we find you annoying, and that we don't think your undeserving attitude of self-entitlement will do you any good. Then as soon as Widow spoke, you accused me of bias, meta gaming and that Widow was the evil doer backing me up. No sorry, we live together and she was listening in on the call to help me keep my cool and allow you players to understand why we hate you and to resolve your issue with our bounty.
Admins from another server, oo-wee! You're nothing on this server, just some annoying self tending players with no respect for the server itself. You will be hated until you make the choice to fit in with what is available, not force your unwanted RP on us.
