I don't think the Volksfront would mind becoming exactly what Trevelyan has in mind. Like I said earlier, the faction status needs de-Cawdor-ification if it hasn't gotten a healthy dose of it already.
If y'all are committed to the Bundschuh, you'd be best off merging up with the Volksfront even if you totally re-write the thing (please note that the faction status document and what they actually do are very different- like I said, it needs de-Cawdor-ification). Dragonego said he'd be talking to them, and I eagerly await seeing forward progress on that front.

I think this is a very fair statement. And as much as I like Cawdor, I'd agree with that point, too.
Is the whole Gotteskanzler/cult-of-the-chancellor RP line still operative?
Yeah, this is why I said amalgamate rather than just join a few pages ago. The VF is an ebb right now. It doesn't really have a leader (more just caretaking)
With dragonego's concerns for being stuck at recruit etc: I think this shouldn't be a concern. For one reason, Vrabcek, who is afaik the most active VF right now, is also the newest and pretty low rank, but this isn't a problem. Ranks don't really mean much unless you make them mean something. I don't think the VF restrict anything. Maybe they do on paper, but not in practice.
Anyway, there's been a lot of dissatisfaction in VF) skype with how the faction is at the moment. I think if you came in and helped us change it, it would be good for us and good for you.
edit: basically just saying, the VF) people are reasonable guys. If you say your piece there's every chance we can work something out.
I'd say, though, that if there is a merger or amalgamation, it really does need to become "Bundschuh." No sense in having some renamed offshoot. Just do the real thing. Otherwise, it just seems like somebody's trying to do something different than "true Bundschuh."
Perhaps a major rethinking of the current faction, starting from the ground up, would be the best thing.
