Proposed Character Name: Leon Hansford "Warbird"

Desired ship(s): Unsure, unfamiliar with the Hessian ships at the moment. The Odin sounds great though.

Roleplay Information:

Born in the New York Sector, Leon Hansford is the son of Hans and Barbara Hansford. His father and mother distanced themselves with the Liberty government when the boy was only a toddler. When Leon was three, the family moved to the New Berlin sector. Now safe from the constant thread of the Liberty Rouges, the Hansfords settled down in the system and made their ways.

When the boy became of age, he started off his career as an independent shipper. Much to the dislike of his mother, Leon was always in and out of scraps with the law, cutting his trade runs to near death. The profit wasn't exactly lucrative, but Leon made enough money to support himself, and enough extra to funnel off to his parents.

After yet another run in with the Rheinland Police, Trenent's ship was blow to scraps. Naturally, the Police took one look at the scene and left, leaving the boy to die. Leon was recovered by members of the Red Hessian Army in a comatose state. When he awoke two weeks later, Leon was in a rehabilitation center being nursed back to health by a small station belonging to the Red Hessians. Realizing that the government of Rheinland had nearly ended his life, Leon decided that he would return the favor to his government, just as they had done to him. (Of course, his ship was space dust, and this gave him a little extra incentive.)

At the age of 27, Leon roamed the station in search of a contact who could sign him up for the Red Hessians.

Why Do I Want to Join?

The Red Hessians appear to be an active and well organized faction. I don't want to join a faction where, when I log on, I'm the only person on the server. The players are friendly, and very mature. I'd like to surround myself with that sort of atmosphere, and I feel I could contribute greatly to it. The Red Hessians have a rich history, one that leaves incredible open ends for roleplaying, and I think that's great.

Time Zone: GMT -6, I usually play in the evenings after 5:00PM. I'm usually online during the weekends, and occasionally during the week.

Here is Blackhand on the board of Thor-M1. I have encountered some malfunctions with my ship. The core is leaking radiation and both impulse the and the cruise engines are breaking down. I don't know how long I can last in this vessel. Please send help!
Ohm...for the Spanish accent? Wait!- Wait! no artillery, no fighters I am a friend, just let me explain it in a safe place ...

...I was born on Freeport of the Omega-5 system. During a raid of the Corsairs I hid away among the cargo pods that were snitched and taken to Crete. Well as a kid I tried to live and get along in my new home in every way I could. I must have been pretty successful, as a couple of years latter I was already captain of the corsair Gunboat - Sicily. Well, in hindsight this was probably the matter, that I got to close and started to see the bigger picture of my ex-clan and not only the cockpit of my fighter.

Corsairs originaly wanted to rebuild the long lost Hispanic federation but now...it is down to building a pirate empire with blood and steel. It is no noble cause or a strife for a homeland, it is just a simple power game. I realised that I wanted no part in this and two weeks ago I snatched a captured Red Hessian Thor and made my escape.

Unfortunately the cruise engine was damaged and broke down after 50k and I had to go by impulse from then... Hey, I am no mechanic! I know how to fight do tactics and steer vessel, but can make no difference between a Rheinland tri-connection suspension generator and a bipolar tachyon cell.

So I was drifting in space with impulse engine when I fought this book, Code of Red Hessians below my seat. I was reading...and..reading...and...starving and reading...and felt that these are values that I could fight for.

A just homeland is a noble cause to live for. So I turned towards the coordinates of Vogtland (it was in the book) and hoped to be found by the Hessians.

I have no remorse for the traders passing by in Rheinland, as I have witnessed many times prisoners, passangers and pilots left in space to die. Of the corsairs? Don't even get me started...

Well? What do you say? Can I stay or is it the space for me?

Is Blackhand your name, or callsign? Regardless, it is indeed an interesting tale you tell...interesting indeed. I hope you understand that during your trial period with us, you will be closely observed. It's nothing personal, but anyone who flew for the Corsairs is a risk, and I'm taking quite a gamble by allowing you to keep one of our heavily armed bombers. A special tracking device will be installed in your ship, and all of your communications will be logged in case you get homesick and try to contact the Corsairs again. Again, nothing personal; just a necessary precaution.

Your first task is to give the vessel's serial number and designation to our personnel department, so they can inform the family of the bomber's former pilot of his or her fate. You will go with the chaplain to inform the family...you need not say anything. I just want you to see the very personal cost of our fight - you will be fighting for ideals, but many of us are also fighting for our families. I want you to see firsthand the cost of this campaign, because the odds are that you will make friends, and lose friends to enemy fire.

I was employed by republican and was sent on a trade run to Bautzen station early in the morning, on my way there i was jumped by a couple thugs, they told me that this run was a setup and that republican wanted me dead, they destroyed my ship with ease.... i was left floating in my pod for some time until i was tractored in by a hessian, he took me to Vogtland base, i cant remember how long i was in medical..... but i wanted my revenge and thought joining the hessians would be a good way to do that.


I would like to join RHA because you seem like good people, i like hessian RP and there is never an action shortage.


I live in South Australia and cant remember what timezone that is lol.
