Because the same applies to Corsair allies, huh? I suppose the Gaians are going to ally with one of your sworn enemies soon along with the Hogosha and AFA.

4.87?

' Wrote:You're not going to "Eat any heads" anyway. Igiss and the storyline team are in control of Storyline development. If it's a mistake fine, we fix it, if it's not, you're just going to have to deal. There will be no threats. I dont like that. We work with factions as much as we can in this process, unfortunately many faction leaders cannot seem to see the forest for the trees when it comes to their factions and the storyline. So yes, we can discuss it and figure out if it was a mistake of not, but please, none of the threats or I will not be doing anything to help you out on this.

'Twas a reference to biting peoples' heads off (and thus generally snapping and being irritated towards folks, in case you're not familiar with the saying).

I'm not even going to try to pretend to be diplomatic here. The idea of "Lane Hackers are based out of a system that shoots them" is just dumb.

' Wrote:Simply put, Xoria even stated the LH are leaving Vespucci.
It's on the dev forums and I could quote it if Igiss lets me.

This storyline doesn't take into account every action of every player in the past 1.5 years, it was created a long time before that. As such, things have moved on since then.

From what I know (I'll test it now) the HF are in Vespucci.
When the LH, a faction run through the 'storyboard', leader comes out and says they are leaving Vespucci, I believe them.

Thank you.

' Wrote:And you speak for all of the Xenos? Last I checked, it was a very diverse faction and much more than just rednecks following the lead of one person. I can see a very few Xenos kitting up and flying over to Bretonia to take a potshot at the grandpappy of all foreign monsters. Actually seems like a cool idea to me.

THIS ^

And, when it comes down to it, we are all role playing a character on a freelancer server. We are playing a part, a role, in a bigger picture; and it just so happens that this is the bible. What people need to realize, is that the only reason why we are here is because we are given a role to play, and here we are, playing the puppets of the puppet masters. We have two choices: We can rebel with ever ounce of strength we have, fighting against those who decide our fate, or, we can sit back and enjoy the ride.

Life is good people, and I love playing this game. Stop and smell the roses and enjoy one-another.

EDIT:And I see everyone talking about how logic defying the Xeno storyline is. SENSE WHEN HAVE XENOS EVER BEEN LOGICALLY INCLINED? Trust me:PWere I come from, Xenos are real.

Ah.

Corsairs --- Unioners --- Red Hessians
Corsairs --- Order --- SCRA

Yea, I guess what you describe never happens to any other faction than the Outcasts.

Just because you've taken a power drill to the forehead and lost all free will doesn't mean others has to follow suit, Anne.

Out of interest, what does that actually mean? I think Zelot answered your question quite reasonably, showing both factions were relatively balanced so far as the complaint you were making goes. :/

I suppose you could say Lane Hackers working with Hogsha to add an additional number to each side of the tally. But then, 'trading with' doesn't exactly equate to 'alliance', does it?

It's an attempt at creating a background for Independent Nomads, coming 4.87, which I approve.

Not happening. Ever.

Besides, when we infest someone, we lobotomize them for just such occasions.
