Doesnt want to say that much, i made my decision to join and i will join if its created, BUT...

1. After all i have read here, i have to say, YES, it was Ian posted this here in the forums, but lets also say, that he posted after talking to me in Tau-31, i was there with my Albatross BC named |Xanavi.
I also told him and a =CR= that some corsairs wanted an alliance.
So dont forget about that...
I really dont want high ranked or leading position btw. ,...

2. The first Albatross BC i have ever seen on Discovery was Mandost, even months before Ian was buying his Endevour...

I have a fighter for escorting miners and traders and for intercepting intruding enemys
and i will hold my BC for defending larger miner groups of 2/more mining ships, escorting bigger convoys or defend our home-systems

actually i was tinkering on posting the idea for a fair few weeks now, the talk with you actually got me to post it:)and i have had the Endeavour since November last year (not saying it was the first but i have owned one for a long time plus i have only recently put the Endeavour name on it as previously it was just 'Ian') , so its been quite awhile but i dont mind keeping it in the reserves if other people want to fly their own but i am not going to sell it on or get rid of it anytime soon as i have spent a long time getting it and although i got it last year i dont want to get rid of it for atleast quite awhile yet

that is weird :wacko: that is exactly what i planned to do with The Atlantia and Endeavour....weird coincidence there heh

well after just readin Dooms post in the faction creation thread and i didnt notice untill then but the Ravens Talon hasnt been added under escorts :s

so, i take that when were busy getting the funds to make it official (atleast re-open its thread) could some people start dealing with the Diplomacy? would help the faction creation thread alot more soon as we have that sorted out:)

first of all thx for the compliment.

and second: we went way to fast into the faction request forum. not even having the half bill right away on a bank char and getting locked is really embarrassing :$

-> if you want to regulate who can own a BC and how's not, i wouldnt be a member any longer...
BC could use everybody who's in RP (but lets try that are not more then 2/max.3 BC on the server at the same time, cause of its "rarely seen" status)
If someones RP is too bad, he should not get such BC-ships or even a GB, but all who could get along with some better RP should buy what they want.

im sorry but We MUST regulate the battleships.

so i see like three possibilities here:
1. you dont join with your alby but with a fighter/transport only
2. you take a position as advisor
3. we rework the restrictions:

Battleships are only to be found in the higher ranks of the securety wing


so lets say we have 5 ranks:
elder council member (here be caps by request)
council member (something a Squadleader can work for - here be GBs by request)
Squadleader (something the normal escorts can work for)
Ace (here be skill plz)
Escort (rookie)

this way around we can say that those of the council who joined the securety wing have the right to _REQUEST_ a battleship (guess whos passing).
however we have to restrict our selfs to 3 BS maximum. and this is allready to damn much! please guys, we are miners, not warlords.
Edit: this means btw that no one of the miners and trders is allowed to fly anything else then a transporter/miner.


and i think chopper made a good suggestion in the thread of the request forum (which, is now locked x_x). so we should think about local alliences with player-corsair-factions. but who ever those corsairs in dublin are, they will be our enemy as long as there are mollys arround.

Edit@ian: hmmm ... why not? i think we gonna repost the thread in like 4-5 days. it would be nice if we work everything out before posting the request this time. i will keep my post on the 6. site of this thread updated with your and the request-thread data. this way we only need to quote/paste when we got the cash =)

why do we even need 1 single Battleship?? :wacko: are we going to plan military attacks? i doubt that we would because really need a battleship at all, the BC is more than enough to defend a couple of traders at one time

1st, the last thing I had in this spot was wrong I found the post saying otherwise and have rectifyed things, sorry m8s i fell asleep for helf the night and when I woke up thos morening it seemd a lot of things change, heck I didnt even get to read the news:P.

2nd, Ian is right we cannot just let anyone reun around In a BC and say they are RPing. Ther have to be rules and guidelines.

3rd, Don stop tradeing yet becaus as soon as we get accepted(whishful thinking;P) we will need a large back for getting new rcruits and the such.
