I have been stopped once but it ended in dropping 2 boxes of Cigars - I am not saying that's wrong - AT LEAST I HAD SOME PIRATE interaction...but you know I miss the good old Joker pirating for example..."Drop those passangers and shoot their pods if you want to live!" "No mr Joker please! I ll pay you ... maybe you want to get onboard ? We have some chicks and wine ?":D:D:D good old days.
Obviously you've never been pirated by me. I try to be creative.

answer? change the ID of military factions to: 'May not interdict civilians unless requested to do so by a player with a police ID.'
.... aaaaand then sanction those who are playing as military, but acting as police.

Have to agree, I've always had a problem with the fact that militaries are just secondary police services. It kills the police faction and causes what you've already stated.
Mhhyea, and you see "rebel/pirate" factions stomping around in capital cities too in tanks and APCs with fullautomatics Coin.
I remain of the opinion that police factions should simply be dissolved and become a military law enforcement division directly under military control. Considering most piracy threats are military grade anyway. This would match the situation that is currently in the game.

Haha! You know that some Police factions use snubs, sometimes even the HF mainly? And GBs are hardly allowed? How would they ever be able to counter the "normal" pirate these days because he flies a GB or sometimes a Cruiser. It's all about the GB and bomber class.

As AD said: the normal pirate is a warship now. You need the military because it is as if you tried to stop a tank (Gb) or an Aircraft Carrier (Cruiser) with a police car/inflatable boat and 9mm pistols.

Hmpf, sometimes i wonder where in Sirius and at which time you guys fly around- personally i have not seen a single cruiser involved in piracy so far (Timezone: GMT+2 , typically in Bretonia, Omegas, omicrons, sigmas) and i would love to hear where they actually are.
Actually...i would love to see more corsair court drama:ylove:, so sue em to hell if they float around alone in their cruisers in Bretland, Krautland or O3/7 :rtfm:
