Just saying (enter discovery) welcome, space is dangerous.

Seeing Tomb is within your roster, I have simple question.

If you attack Order in Omicron Lost (That's ZoI problem brought up before already), why are we considered "neutral" ("everyone not listed")? Please be consistent as to what are you trying to do because so far you appear to be just group of sellswords running around either for biggest money or like headless chickens all over the place.

If part of your "mission statement" (bringing order/peace/unity to Sirius) also includes desolate Omicron systems, unrelated to house space, you are not doing anything towards it. Your presence in systems like Omicron 99 is OORP at best. Even if you could pull out some information about Nomad system, how would you survive (actually worse: dumping your recruits for certain death literally in middle of Nomad infested space)

My advise:

Either turn into PMC with tradition of reffering to each other as judges (bringing justice by working for lawfuls?)
Or...
Redefine your methods as you are nothing near you wish it to be currently.

Not entirely we are under contract by IC, and it was my objection to attack anyone who was to harm the IC base that was in the system. (Just me voicing why I was there) I did not fire a shot on order, they attacked two IC Trade vessels that I was hired to defend.

So, you are simply mercenaries doing what employers tells you to do, without doing research as to what happened.

I've thought Judges are supposed to be not bribable, therefore making PMC point even more valid.

maybe the Freelancer ID needs some adjustment:
Quote:Pilot carrying this ID is a Freelancer, who:

Can fulfill bounty contract and escort other vessels.
May not engage in piracy outside of a posted bounty contract.
May treat trade vessels as combat targets in pursuit of a bounty contract.
Cannot use any transports with more than 3,600 cargo.

Allowed ships: Fighters, Bombers, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats.
as i cannot see you may defend a base? or shoot all due to a contract you are supposed to be on. as its not on the forums? Can you please point it?

also i am not going to dig further in this topic. I think most things are told.
Still havent met any of you on RP. but might be me too as im not much in liberty.

Seeing you haven't answered my previous post I'll ask again:

In what manner are you ANY different in-game behavior than any BHG? What stops you from being an indy BHG group without the bit-shady part. I fail to see how you require the official status to go on with your lives and what anything new you bring to the server.

It's a question you should also ask yourselves, since right now you are acting purely like any other BHG.

We are back to the 'You can please some of the people some of the time but not all the people all the time!'

We get condemned because Pirates can attack all around Manhattan and we don't do anything. Well, our ID (being Freelancer) doesn't allow us to do anything. We are told to get on the Bounty Boards.

Now we have got on a Bounty Board and we are condemned because we are acting like any other Mercenary Group.

We are told to listen to the community, so the question is: who in the community do we listen too? This question hasn't been answered yet by anyone. Please people give us a break. We are DAMNED if we do and we are DAMNED if we don't!

I have said in previous posts on this thread that this isn't the way we wanted to go!

The explanation of the O-99 incident (which some complain is ooRP) has been explained in previous posts.

Yesterday there was a 2 hour slot, on SKYPE, which was organised for people to talk to Yohance about the Judges. Do you know how many people out of the community, who had a chance to talk to us, turned up:

EXACTLY 0

We are trying! But it seems nobody is trying to meet us even slightly part of the way!

Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person

Ever wonder if maybe the root cause of all of your problems is yourselves rather than saying its "everyone else" in the community? Maybe you are having trouble fitting into the community because the current version of your RP just isn't compatible with disco lore and mechanics?

To put it bluntly, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, you cannot expect this community to bend over backwards to accommodate your RP. You're the (relatively) newcomers to the server (faction-wise) AND you're applying for official faction status. Honestly, its YOUR job to find out a way to fit within the RP community. Its not the community's job to make a spot for you.

I think in order for you guys to even get this faction sorted out you need to point out what you would want on an ID.

Rather than offering an obscure time which doesn't suit anyone, you could instead take all the time you need to reply to each of the posts here in turn - and actually address the content within them, instead of complaining about the tone in which it is said.

Also, perhaps the "catch-22" situation described above can be mitigated by aligning your roleplay with the available IDs. Freelancers are people who are self-employed, or offer their services to the highest bidder; so a group of Freelancers are either mercenaries or traders-for-hire. Is that what the Judges are? No, not from your description. If you want to act in the pursuit of justice but not be tied down to any House, then the Bounty Hunters Guild (not the Core) should be your next port of call. Still too much of a mercenary feel? Then you'll have to pick up a House Lawful ID. On an tangential note, the BHG Core is dedicated to wiping out the Order and figuring out Nomad technology (though this does have a sinister undertone), so if you feel like shipping out to the Omicrons, there's your ticket. Alternatively, if you're feeling that martyrdom is more to your liking, change sides and sign up with the Order and save humanity from itself (by keeping Nomad tech out of circulation). If everything I have suggested is too constraining, then that should be ringing some warning bells: your faction's roleplay may not fit within the structure of the ID system.

There was a sig here, once.
