As a non-PVP'er, ditto. It doesn't seem fair to drop this right before a server event. I haven't had a chance to test out the new update but nonetheless, thank you dev team and any others who had a hand in the patch for your continued efforts.
It ain't about what you are capable of, it's about what you're willing to do.
Can't say I'm impressed with the way staff treats (official) factions that are actually working really hard to add something to this community. I won't get into details out of respect for everyone involved, just wanted to let you all know via this way that it's very disappointing and demotivating to see the utter lack of cooperation and respect for the hard work people put into running an official faction.

You're welcome to share the details of this in a PM if you'd like.

I know what @Madvillain is talking about, and since he doesn't want to go into further details publicly, I obviously won't either. However, I just wanted to say that I agree with what he said.
An OF is supposed to be a guide in the correct way of acting for the indies who carry the same ID as the NPC faction, both for the exercise of RP, and for compliance with the server rules. Because of this, they have more responsibilities than indies, and that means they have to work harder and be more strict about the consistency of their actions. In return, OFs are also supposed to have a few more powers than indies in order to be able to exercise that guidance and authority.
If the extra effort that the OFs make to act impeccably is disdained by the staff, its members will begin to wonder if it's really worth it, and will fall into complete apathy. This will affect the behavior of everyone with the same NPC faction ID in the long run, and the quality of the gameplay experience.

Ditto. Part of the reason why I decided to become a moderator is because I've noticed a trend changing. Previous staff it seemed like they didn't care at all about about player feedback but this staff does. Let us know if you have any concerns and we'll bring it up with the appropriate staff member.
Thanks for your feedback!

It is a big loss to the community that @Seapanda and @TheKusari stepped down from the Administration of Discovery.
Before that seeing @TheDoctorXI and @L1ght leaving too... and before that @St.Denis ...
Why there are so many good staff players are leaving?
