You should not be demoted, you did a great thing trying. You risked your own life to safe that of a superior. Of course, I'm not valuble enough to risk that much in my opinion, but your actions allowed us time to activate shields and weapons. Also, because of that, we at least managed to send the traitors home with some repair costs. I will leave it to the Executive Commander and Supreme Commander to decide what the reward for your actions should be.
