Quote:To prevent it from activating the Nomads were put into stasis using complex chemical compounds (which was a technological accomplishment of its own because cryogenic stasis killed Nomads much faster than humans).
And yes, wilde/nomad players have created volumes of lore about how invencable nomads are, how they have mind powers, can cure cardi addiction in humans, telekinesis, live longer, self destruct, can read minds, ect. EDIT: how they lobotomize people..
But, a lot of that hasn't been officially approved.. so it isn't canon, merely speculation.
' Wrote:Some of the payments are so large that economists worry about the stability of the Sirius Credit, which has to be constantly and carefully pegged against the planetary currencies of the various Houses. The situation is not helped by the discovery that Gallia has recently fixed its own Gallic Franc to the value of the Sirius Credit in a move designed to both enable trade with some Sirius groups and simultaneously hurt the economies of the major Sirius Houses by passing on the inflation from its own overheating economy.
The bolded part - in the nick of time.
But. The last part (in italics), about hurting economies, either doesn't make sense or requires a degree in economy. I personally think it is even more hurting common sense than those parts about certain factions getting screwed (which everyone argues about).
How did this miraculous 'fixing' worked with such result? Like many things with Gallia, it would be much easier to accept without attempt to explain. (No-one really expects realism, but when when you invite one and it don't show up...).
Feel free to PM me regarding any grammar/spelling/other language mistakes I have made in my posts.
' Wrote:No it doesnt, it is Xenos acting in defense of Liberty, that is the core goal of the Xeno movement.
I understand what you are trying to convey. They are going to be a pain in the arse for all Gallic shipping.
However, you did say in a response that Liberty was not able to stand against Gallia the way it is now and that the Xenos were there to help weaken/damage them before they attack Liberty. That is what I had issue with.
I think you said they were going to help Mollies. Maybe together they will disrupt enough to make a difference.

so IND who works with Corsair and SCRA work with Outcast also....funny.

Really all this is doing is explaining a game mechanic issue where there is only one type of currency in game.
