And look, now OSI has the freedom to be greedy bastards, TAZ can be TAZ, and the Omicroners can continue to be "blindly neutral" and hand out their most destructive technology to anyone who walks by. What's not to love? (sun)
From you perhaps? You are free to point out where I was passive aggressive to the OP, or any serious on-topic responses? (Also, for the record, I just made Chevalier's Zoner Guard, so it is obviously not at OP, and I would laugh at your suggestions if it were not for the fools that would believe it.)
I'd like to note that while I technically run Freeport 4 at the moment with Tal Lyrandar, the actual position of station administrator is open, as he's the head of station security.
If anyone feels like dabbling in that role, add me on skype and we can try making the place a bit more lifelike.
(I'd certainly like to see that place fleshed out into a proper station, not just a docking bay and shop.)
Characters Alan Markson: The Hellfire Legion's Lord Commander The Perihelion: Freeport Four's guardian, and yet much more. Missing and assumed Lost with all hands. Eric Dresmund: Junker, smuggler, thief. Last seen drunk on Beaumont Vayrn Wyard: IMG Recon pilot turned Neo-Terran Captain. Last location unknown

I was referring to your post, stating the following:
' Wrote:Well, as far as I recall, no-one really felt like stopping the "events" which led to the dissolution of the ZA. (I was going to call it role-play, but I figure lying in this thread does no favours to anyone really.)
Clearly you harbor a grudge toward the individual(s) you perceive as being responsible for the dissolution of the ZA via means that you don't even consider to be within roleplay. Although your language is circumspect, I much prefer when pretense is dropped, so I provided a more direct response, in what the dissolution of the ZA has provided to the three official Zoner factions in terms of freedoms. The dissolution of the ZA was the "fault" of none but the Zoners who were members, us included. Blame events if it makes you feel better. There may just have been more going on behind the scenes than was realized, hm?
And no, I wasn't assuming you were directing the passive-aggressive attitude toward the OP. I was asking if the comment should have been perceived with that attitude behind it. Clearly your comment (which seems a little irrelevant, given that we didn't have much in the way of a Freeport Administration prior to the dissolution of the ZA to be responsible for said events anyway) was a response to Jarl's statement which I picked up on and commented back to you within my mostly-on-topic fairly lengthy post #77. The target of your comment, however, seemed to be a fairly vague one thrown out in space. I was simply providing an opportunity for you to clarify such.
Does that clear things up? I hate wasting forum space on trivialities such as these, but alas, it seems to almost be necessary wherever we go these days.
Back to the subject at hand, I was fairly surprised when the first thing Disco did after claiming Porto Novo was come to OSI for a contract. I'm kinda curious what alternative roleplays you folks have in mind for the Zoner stations that are being snatched up now? Ames, Freeport 5, and Freeport 9 seem to be the only stations really with a terribly high potential for RP, and even then Ames is the only one that's fairly non-diplomatic. 9 just got 'lucky' because it was 'destroyed' in a sense. There really hasn't been anything more since that whole incident died off.
I dunno, if y'all have any ideas and need some support, flesh 'em out and throw 'em at the official factions. We might be able to push it along a bit if that's the sort of thing your RP needs. Freeports, frankly, seem like fairly dull stations to run for the most part. Except for The Bear Cave on 14. Interesting things seem to happen there.
If anyone still has an interest in RP'n the admin of a Zoner station, I really have no plans for Boa Vista. I'm willing to hand it to someone (along with the forum account) so they may pursue role play with it.
As for Gheis' question of what people plan to do with them. I think Ames is a fitting example of what can be done. I know with Freeport 2 he reacts to stuff that happens. Like when the RM/LN had a fight on top of Freeport 2 he then requested additional supplies to repair the station, etc etc.
As an admin of a station, I think most of your RP will be on the forums. Anyways, not really sure what I was doing posting but I did.
