Act like you have some pep and enthusiasm for discovery and the role. You want to sell someone flowing with vital juices that can be harvested for many a day 'afor your hollow shell is cast into the back room with Laowai, Zelot and Doc H/etc.
Saying "I guess that maybe I could be compelled to give a damn maybe." is bad medicine.
iPhone posting is best posting.
Dusty you don't have to tell about the bad sides of being an admin, like getting in a chat with Matt and Zelot.
You can point out the good things, like the dungeon you're thrown into and your daily meal composed from grain. Plain Grain.
My first arrival to Discovery in 2006 was a differenr experience than today. The community during that time a mere fraction of what it is today. Time in the military has pretty much devoured my spare time. As I'm nearing the ending point to my time in service I have plenty free time. As the community changes and grows I suspect I should play my part slightly more whether as an enforcer or debater. Any how good luck to everyone.
Well, 2 years on the server, no sanction since my early noob-days.
Some decent RP played, familiar with the rules. Yepp, I'll give it a try, sign me up.:)
Well i am already the most hated person on forum, so why not. Plus i am in 0 factions, so have no attachments to any. I also already spend 3-4 hours a day reading forums, so why not do something useful at same time.

protip #2- actually, it's best to not sugarcoat the job- in order to discourage the thin skinned & the ones who post on a whim & see the position with an unrealistic sense of cool and/or power.
Becoming an admin forces a major change in outlook on every aspect of gameplay & community.
People need to take that into account. Admining has its rewards, but it's not something for the weak or whimsical
I doubt I'll stand out against the masses, but I'd love to apply for this position. I have experience with administrating other RP communities, and facilitating roleplaying events.
