Well that was weird... But she knows me? Jake thought he should probably just take the chance. "Sorry Remus," Jake turned back to the girl. "I don't remember you, sorry. What's your name?"'Maybe someone I knew as a kid? I do seem to remember something about her...'
Kohaku nodded. "I guess being here with my few friends is better than staying on the Bequest alone." She then took Alexis' hand. "Catherine Raven? I've heard of her a few times already"
Aurora smiled to Jake. "We did meet, in space. In the star system you call California." she said, while reaching Jake's left cheek with her hand, lightly touching it. "You already know the answer inside you but you refuse to conceive it as possible."
A few images of an event in California flickers in Jake's mind, removing her hand afterwards.
Clark walked around the club and surveyed the area. It was too crowded now. He walked over to the corner of the room with the best view and sat down on the closest seat. He looked at his three quarter full soda bottle. "Everyone is having a good time" Clark muttered to himself. He continued to look around the area. Clark felt his Vid-Com Link vibrate. Clark stood up and walked swiftly out of the club and answered the call. A holographic projection appeared, emitted from the comm link. It was Josie. "Hey Jo-Jo...wow you look like hell" Josie said smirking. "Hey Jose, hows it going?" Clark replied rubbing his eyes with his spare hand. "I heard your in leave and by the looks of it your at that shindig Mehndi was running." Josie said trying to look past Clark. "I was just about to leave anyway. Whats this about?" Clark asked "Well i kinda need someone i trust around me at the moment, going corporate is quite a change from navy life. what do you say? think you can get to Pittsburgh in two hours?" Josie said "I'm there. beats being here and being stir crazy any day." Clark said smiling. "Time to get out of here"
With a smile, Alexis carefully led Kohaku around people and to where Cat had settled herself. With a smile, Alexis very nearly dragged Kohaku into view, then released her hand.
"Hey Cat. This is my friend Kohaku. Kohaku, this is my, ah...very good friend Catherine."
She looked at Remus for a moment, apparently agitated by the event.
"I reminded him of an event lost in a corner of his mind, like many things. There's nothing of dangerous, don't be afraid, it's just... the kind of things you can't do yourselves."
"Sure why not, alcohol doesn't affect me anymore anyway."
Hale smiled for a moment. "A sad loss, I'm sure."
He stood up and walked over to the bar, ordering another drink for himself and a glass of wine for Kate. He paused for a moment, motioning for the barman to move a little closer. "Uh... everyone's next drink is on me. Tradition and all the rest..."
The barman nodded and took his credit card. Hale turned around to see Aurora moving her hand away from Sanders' face. 'More subtle please, A' he thought to himself as he watched the unfolding scene from a few feet away.

Jasmine sat down at a table and waited for Natalie to join her. The drink in her hand was sharp and strong, making her head spin just a little.
Over the last few months Jasmine had found herself enjoying Natalie's company. Friends were a rare commodity and a valuable one, even if they were the most unlikely candidates. Natalie's recovery had, in Jasmine's opinion, been going pretty well, but she was concerned that Nat might just be putting on a show of happiness for the occasion.

Mehndi finally finished performing and stepped off the stage in grandiose fashion. Well, it was more like leaping off the stage and barely managing not to land on his ass, but it was grandiose. After a fashion. He put on some more music on the player, and slumped in one of the chairs, clearly tiring from the effort now. He grinned however. It was going well so far, and he was pleased that his efforts had paid off. Wiping the sweat from his forehead, he closed his eyes for a moment, resting them. There would be more performing in a bit, but not right now.

Lewis lounged in a chair, watching the people circulate. He remembered why he was considering not coming. There were too many new faces in this party, and he found that he'd lost the capability to relate to them. But, the drinks were good at least. He'd probably get a little drunk soon enough and then leave this joint, but for now...
Noticing Sanders walking up to one of the purple haired women, Lewis shook his head in amusement, but that soon changed. The woman touched him on the cheek, and Sanders' expression changed dramatically. Long years of training kicked in, and Lewis started reaching for a weapon that wasn't there, rising...then sat down when Sanders calmed down. It was strange, but it looked under control...for now. He'd have his eye on them though, the purple haired figure suddenly seemed a lot more intriguing than just a novel hairstyle.
