I use to become sarcastic. I think cyanic is a way too drastically.

But with all this trouble an idea has been formed in my mind.
How about creating an empire clan by ourselves?
Maybe on the PvP server. I think it would be very confusing on the RP server.
This is my idea:

The Empire of Discovery - [TED-...]

The military branch -mip
Takes care of the laws and enforce it - Military ID
The trading branch -tip
For the wealth of the empire - Trader ID
The pirate branch -pip
To harrass our enemies and weaken them - Pirate ID
The covert ops branch -cip
Intelligence or assasinations - Merc ID
The science branch -sip
Creating new technolgies and field testing - Nomad ID

For a deeper experience we can split the branches in sub-clans:
Four military sub-clans called houses.
These four houses will have three trading sub-clans called companies.
Within the four houses there are three pirate sub-clans opposing the companies.

What worries me is that an acronym like DIC is asking for a shed-load of immature jokes...

Agreed... you seem to be completely missing the point. IF we yell at them and flame them, you know what they'll think? They'll say, "You know what, those RP'ers are just flaming idiots. I don't want to be like that. We'd better not RP". No, they won't actually say that, but you get the idea. They're be inclined not to RP if people who do RP are saying that they're bad and not RPing. It's a natural reaction. When I joined Disco, I had no idea what RP was, but I assure you I wouldn't have been convinced I needed to RP if someone yelled at me.
