Considering that this is sort of building on a war that should have been over in the time it takes to send a fleet of dreadnoughts from New York to New Berlin (keep in mind that Liberty's military budget is likely similar to that of present-day America), this whole thing doesn't make much sense.

Guys it doesnt matter, no need to get worked up. When it comes to be time for the war to end, Rhienland can just go:
"Oh actually, upon checking our roster, those two guys who attacked new london were infected ages ago, sorry Bretonia, it was a Nomad trick, lets b friends".
So dont worry about the storyline being changed, or your rp being removed, theres an easy out.


(Also if those guys are not know to be infected, RM simply calls them in to explain their actions, uses nomad detectors, and voila 2 captive wilde)

I have come to the conclusion that Discovery is an Internet Prison Yard.

Change comes slowly, if it comes at all.

This means the inmates pace back and forth along their pre-determined lines, performing the same types of activity day in and day out.

Boredom sets in. Sooner or later there will be a riot. The good order of things will start to break down.

Then the Overlords will come thumping in with their jackboots, crack a few heads - and everything will settle down again.

It seems to me that the inmates are getting more and more restless. As Bretonia and Liberty pursue their Double Entente, a logical course of action is for Rhineland and Kusari to form their own alliance.

Sirius takes another step towards total anarchy...

I'm really waiting for 4.86 to push the reset button on a lot of crap and allow for fresher RP. But I'm not referring to this event in particular. This war might have been rushed a bit, Rhein nationalists might have pushed it forward, Brits didn't certainly do their best to avoid it, but hell, at lease some people TRIED to give it an RP explanation. Even when the result isn't completely met, the effort has to be rewarded. I'll enjoy the event as long as it goes on, then try my best to forget it for the coming of 4.86:D
