(ohh damn, this is an ooRP thread ...)
Nope. As Anne said, they are employed by the RM and he (they? now I'm confused; thank you Anne) has write access to the Rheinland criminal database, which is administrated by the RFP.
She means that it's really just one person. Not a group of people everyone keeps making a big deal about. One. Person.
As the head of the BAF at this time let me clarify.
This is a border clash, at most a dozen or so ships here and there. Neither side is launching invasions, we're sabre rattling at each other. We both want something from the other government, and for all the talk of war, this is mainly an MND/QCP/Corporation battle... BAF and RM are involved, sure, but only in the occasional encounter.
Bretonia is on the Defensive, Rheinland is on the offensive (both houses doing what they do best)
The bulk of both fleets in RP will be facing the Taus and Facing Liberty.
No systems will fall, no bases will fall.
Given time things will smooth over, I am sure.
Until then, I am going to enjoy the ride.
Besides, technically the Wilde started this. Kudos to Das Wilde for excellent RP.
There was at least one [RM] snub, but I didn't hear anything from it. I think the group retreated when the Bretonian force dropped in and told them to scoot.
I have updated my chonology of events, as seen in post 104. Thank you to all who clarified things, you guys really helped.
Also, Jammi, if you want to make an RP chonology of the events, I'd be extremely happy. I've updated the chonology, so you can that same list as new info pops up. Contact me if you want any help.
' Wrote:Didn't you claim Omega-3 as Bretonian territory that one time?
Because I think that's a potentially hostile action to Rheinland.
EDIT: Holy crap there's another eleven pages...
Rheinland's treaty that they signed with us concerning Omega-7 and Omega-3 gave the houses sovereignty over their respective system. So no, Bretonia didn't claim Omega-3. We legally already had it (which means we also can't annex it) Rheinland had Omega-7.
All we did was rename the system and Rheinland's players were too busy looking for things to pew pew than to pay attention to the treaties they signed. I got accused of annexing a system in-game about 9 times by Rheinland players. All of them were either [RM] or BDM. None of these people paid any attention to the treaty, and my repeated efforts to point it out were ignored.
And no Vogel, that timeline is perfectly done except for the Wilde situation, which happened on the 27th, 2 days before the blockade.
It's ignoring things like the Bowex pilot's "evidence" displaying him, time stamped, in the New Berlin system when the freelancer told him to stop, not Omega-3. It also places Libertonian involvement 'after' the skirmishes in Omega-3, when the main reason the RM fleet assembled at Rugen moved out was because scouts spotted several LNS vessels flying alongside the Bretonians. Liberty was called in much earlier than when the RM proper began moving out, and save for the Wilde who had been flying around and firing at will for a while by this point, no official order to engage was given up until the point when the first Bretonian shouted "Charge." None of the BDM units flying through New London or Cambridge ever engaged anything to my knowledge, and in fact never got within 10 klicks let alone had their IDs scanned.
I could argue this on and on but the truth is that I'm pretty damn sure I know what happened, and that if I kept elaborating on it a bunch of people would be up in arms about it, and I really have better ways of wasting my time than dealing with that nonsense.
