Born on a space vessel, raised on a space vessel. Improperly raised, is the
truth I realise today. With strict cultural enviroment, I was brought up to
be a man of honor, and of honour I became. This 'honour' has granted me not with
unmatched discipline, but with misguided actions.

Tuesday, I remember, just a week after I had graduated combat training
I would set the stairs for a decline into maddness.

The ships scanners were showing several Hogosha, but we made no move,
no action. My family had always been harassed by Hogosha, and it had always
been something both parties dealt with 'honourably'. But our 'honour' was far
greater. A curse, not a boast. The Hogosha opened fire upon our craft without
so much as a hail. Retreat would have been the correct approach, outnumbered
as we were. But we stood and fought 'honourably'. To the death.

But I survived. Perhaps I survived because my instincts are too
strong, or maybe my 'honour' is too weak.

To think escape pods would even exist on a ship owned by my family. But they did, and as the fight raged on, I could start to see them. In my head. We were facing certain doom, and safety was but a few doors away. These thoughts I had to repel from my head, they were a cowards thoughts.
'Dishonourable' thoughts. But it was impossible to qualm, as soon as the
shields fell and the ship shook, I was sprinting down the hall. Before I could
get ahold of my actions, I ejected into space.

My pod stabilized in time to see the destruction of my own
family. I was not suprised to see the Hogosha leave without turning their
heads. They probably never checked for an escapee, having seen the way we
were. It wasn't too long before I realized what I had done. I shamed my
family, I was a coward. The solution was suicide. And anyone before me would
have done it. But I could not. It was an impossible feat for my body to grasp,
although my mind desired it. Since I could not redeem myself with death, I was to
be punished with exile.

For the next many years, I vowed to live in solitary confinement,
among un colonized areas. But I had lived on a space ship. Finding nutrition
became difficult at times, impossible at others. I often ended up wandering
into the citys and towns, begging for food and shelter. Such is how I recieved
my un soiled name.

I had again 'dishonoured' myself. Breaking the vow I made to attone for my
sins. I was dying on the inside. To be alive after making such errors.

But I endured. I've been slowly wittling away until recently. My mentality had begun to change. I have come to realize the "truths" behind 'honour'. However, these ideals
has been engraved into me at such an early age. I still feel their 'pull'.
I returned to the world in search for a 'cure' of sorts. With my over due inheritance I was able to afford enough to get where I am at now.

Konnichiwa Guild Masters and miners,

I am Minami Kuriyama, born at Honsho in Hayamori 26 years ago. My father and my mother are still living there and on vacation I often still travel there. Due to piracy and inequitable decisions of the government at the expense of the normal Kusari population I was always looking for independence and equality. I feel a strong connection to people that are free to say what they think in their companies and not to get punished as so called "subversive elements". I experienced such problems since my childhood because all our family members are working at Samura Heavy Industries and only my father decided to go other ways. Years of suppression and abasement followed and our family finally had to split up completely from the rest of our blood relationship. I don't want to happen similar things to my children. I want to support a company that is loyal to its roots and members and gives the chances to develop freely in Kusari and on many flights to other nations, where you can see the universe through other eyes.
My three-years-lasting occupation at the Bounty Hunters Guild was a step into the direction I finally want to move. I discovered real freedom and learned to know the Kusari systems but I also noticed that evil is not always evil because it is listed in a database. This is another reason why I want to join the GMG. We don't hunt for money '€“ we hunt for safety and against suppression by Samura and their handymen Hogosha.

My vision:

I want to join the Gas Miners Guild to protect our ships in Kusari and the other Sirius systems. But I don't just want to take care for us. There are many other GMG-friendly traders that need our help. They fly with bad equipped ships and try to make their (first) money. I also want to protect those ships as an additional service, too. Let me explain why I think this is useful.

Our profit: Trust and military protection

If we can provide safety to other companies and nations we can earn their trust and strength when we need it. The good thing is that nobody can get into competition with us (H-Fuel) and we cannot lose money or anything else (I will leave out Kruger of course). Show helpfulness '€“ win helpfulness.

The business model overview:

I escort GMG-ships and other GMG-friendly traders for free in all Kusari and Sigma systems.
Every futher system is also free for GMGs, of course, and is for other traders with costs. The focus on this work is similar to the work of the paramilitary division but you see the difference lies in the free escort services in Kusari for every trader '€“ this should also be communicated in the official news.

My ship and equipment:

I am skilled in flying the Raven's Talon, civilian ship, very heavy fighter. I am currently equipped with Buckshots and still don't know if I am allowed to keep them. However: I would be happy to keep this ship to gain maximum safety for customers, GMG-members and me.

I am interested in playing and having fun. Background:
Born on Honshu, to parents Shimada Keiichiro (father) and Suzuma Roei - parents not married. Other then being mostly home schooled, Kenji attended college, and was active in a lot of anti-samura student protests - mostly against the Kogen dynasty's current anti-GMG legislation, following in his parents footsteps, being outspoken against the government.
When legal pressure started to catch up to him, Kenji paid for some forged identification, and signed up for apprenticeship on-board an independent cargo hauling vessel. Picking up ship life very easily, he used his money earned to purchase his own vessel - a Liberty made Heavy Fighter, and offered Mercenary Convoy Escort work, for a variety of different vessels - both company owned and independent.

by a pirate at omega systems while transporting goods so i moved to my mothers side to kusari it was pretty hard at the beginning but i got used to i have got my space trading licence since 7 years
