This is a maintained channel between IMG Officials and EDG Enterprise. In this channel you can report your activities. Special importance must be given in reporting the seizure of contraband.

Tau Defense Contract

The Board of Executives of the Emergency Defense Group Enterprise is proud to present Emergency Defense Group deployment contract to the Board of Guild Masters of the Independent Miners Guild. It is composed upon your request in accordance to our previous negotiations. Following terms and conditions of this contract have been mutually agreed upon.

This contract concerns the deployment of an Emergency Defense Group (§1) by the Emergency Defense Group Enterprise into specified systems (§2), for an unspecified period of time (§3), for a flat monthly rate of 80 000 000 SC increased by an optional motivational bonus paid at the end of each month that the contract is in effect. Emergency Defense Group's goal is to act as a hired military force and conduct offensive (§4) and defensive (§5) operations against specified parties, on behalf of the Independent Miners Guild and its unassociated affiliates.

Emergency Defense Group is a tactical military unit consisting of fighters, bombers, gunships, gunboats, destroyers, battlecruisers and battleships.

[color=#FF9900]§2. Systems

Emergency Defense Group will operate in the following systems: Coronado, Orkney, Tau 23, Tau 29, Tau 31, Tau 37, Tau 39.

[color=#FF9900]§3. Time

The contract will remain in effect for an unspecified period of time. Both parties may cancel the contract at any time, however the contract will remain in effect until the end of the current month, until the payment is regulated, and immediately after which it will cease to be valid.

Emergency Defense Group can actively pursue, engage and destroy ships belonging to the specified parties: [color=#FF0000]Outcasts, Queen Carina's Privateers, Unione Corse

§5. Defensive

• Emergency Defense Group can actively intercept, investigate and question any suspicious vessel identified as: [color=#FFFFFF]Pirate, Mercenary, Freelancer, Slaver, Smuggler, Junker or member of any unlawful faction.
  
• If the investigation produces evidence or suspicion that the individual is a threat to IMG assets or is allied with parties specified in paragraph §4 of this contract, Emergency Defense Group may demand from the vessel to leave the area. Exception is the Kiretsu transports carrying cardamine or transports hauling cardamine and are escorted by Kiretsu escorts.
  
• If the investigation produces evidence that the individual is carrying cardamine or slaves, Emergency Defense Group may demand from the vessel to drop the contraband and leave the area.
  
• If the individual does not comply to the demands, Emergency Defense Group may engage and destroy the vessel.
  
• If the individual is actively assisting parties specified in paragraph §4 of this contract, Emergency Defense Group may engage and destroy the vessel.
  

§6. Additional terms

• Both parties may renegotiate the contract at any time, however there must be agreement for the changes to take effect.
  
• The monthly payment will be sent to financial centre aboard Battleship Aurora. Exact account: [color=#FF9900]EDGE|XS|Aurora.
  
• EDG may use IMG bases to resupply, repair, or rest. This includes IMG bases in Tau 39.
  
• EDGE Board of Executives has complete authority and freedom regarding any and all tactical and strategic decisions concerning EDG operations within the contract.
  
• EDG will prioritize the safety of IMG civilians and assets as long as it is in accordance with existing doctrines and diplomatic relations.
  
• EDGE will cease to claim bounties on the IMG bounty board in systems specified in this contract for the duration of the contract.
  
• EDGE will provide evidence of destruction of any vessels and contraband under this contract, retrieval of slaves, as well as any other unspecified but significant happenings.

So far everything is going smooth, we're staying on the safe side whenever we can, not overextending our forces, and we're expanding our patrol network everyday. The rocks are starting to feel familiar again. It's good to be home.

This person decided to interrupt my conversation with a Brigand, and engaged me yesterday. He ran into my SNAC.

Greetings, Protector Vityaz Hunt here. Here's the field report for the last few days. Fighting wasn't too intense... but outcasts definetly do not wish to live peacefully.





Answered the Java emergency call, at nigh. Had to wake up the whole crew. Although, when that Ranseur was half-dead, Council battleship came in and finished him off... well, less fuel spent for us.

Hello! This is Guardian Anthony Haven. That was a hot evening in Tau 23.. I thought that my radar has got a malfunction but there was a mass of hostile fighters at Java Station. Anyway... Here I got the BHG Gun Cam of Los Alamos.



I noticed alot of pilots fighting when i undocked from Java Station. My Minirazor is not that bad. a Gallic Brigand oneshotted, that makes me very proud, you need to know that it was a dodging target. Who cares. Here i got the stuff. Addition, i have to say: Fighting for IMG makes me proud! Thats the Truth.

Guardian Ortiz here, this kill is the result of a routine patrol and a small skirmish, I pursued the target from 23 to 37 where the fleeing Sabre was destroyed.




I was moving Thresher Deimos from the Omega 56 shipyards to Tau 23 when two Falcatas attacked, I managed to destroy one while the other fled. Unfortunately there is no ID scan for this one, I was more concerned with getting my brand new Thresher to safety.

Greetings, Protector Vityaz Hunt here. I'm here to report about latest EDGE operations in Tau 23.
Well, let me begin.


First, a Cardamine smuggling junker vessel. He was a good runner, pursuit was so long, that Executive Walter ended up outside the dense Tau 23 asteroid field... nevertheless, the contraband was intercepted and destroyed.


For this one I have only guncams, and can't provide a more detailed report on the situation... but well, guncams speak for themselves.



This is what happened yesterday. We've answered an emergency call that Outcast dreadnought, callsign Orellion, entered Tau 23 system. Unfortunately, we weren't able to succesfully intercept him, and he escaped to the Alpha cloud... just to come back a little later with Outcast swarm.
We and Colonials organised a defense force. Not many sniffers returned to their homes this time.

05/07/819. FIELD REPORT.

Greetings, Protector Vityaz Hunt here.
Over the last few days there were multiple reports of an outcast capital-class ship attacking Kusari Naval vessels ( Mostly capital ships) in the Holman outpost area. We were trying to track him down and eliminate, but until today we did not succeed. Our EDG and IMG carrier SeaOfSilence2 answered Holmann emergency call, when that dreadnought appeared on their scanners.
Also, I should mention that this ship apparently had an advanced countermeasure technology, since our cruise disrupters (of Reinforced class) were mostly useless, even from point blank distances. This way he was able to reach Tau 23 system. Nevertheless, we were able to destroy him before he moored to that impenetrable rock of theirs.
I feel obliged to mention that without IMG carrier support, callsign "SeaOfSilence2", this operation would have very slim chances of success.

Guardian Ortiz here, responding to a call that two Outcast Destroyers were located about 10k from Cali base, EDGE| quickly responded with two bombers, to join 2 IMG bombers and 1 fighter in attacking these two warships. IMG lost one bomber, but the rest of us managed to destroy one Storta and force the other to dock.
