Raba is really good the only drawback is the energy core. I find it unrealistic to have smaller core then ships like Atlas and Crane and still be attack armoured transport, sharing the core of Percheron. The same counts for the Behemoth but Behemoth have only 6 forward turrets till Raba have 7. A bit core boost for the next version. And allow it to Corsairs and their allies - it makes more sense then the P-Transp.

Quote:Despite their partial dependence on other organisations for food and resources, the Corsairs are known for their ship-building industry, and their advanced ship designs are feared across Sirius. Because of this, the Corsairs are rarely if ever seen utilizing ships or equipment developed by anyone other than their own engineers; Corsair battle technology is part of the Corsairs' national identity and most would be loathed to use anything else, viewing foreign ships and weaponry as inferior and unreliable.
I am a hard core Corsair when it comes to tech, and honestly Raba looks like Corsair ship totally made by Corsairs, the whole point is , Why would corsairs use pirate transport over Raba which they made.

They still have the designs, they MADE IT. I can't understand inRP, why would they choose Liberty Rogue transport over their own, when they are such a great ship builders.
M'kay for you whos comment is : Just ask for it inRP.
Honestly, Pirate Transport is a beast, if I was into the "I need transport for pirating" I would use it without problem, I'm just trying to find logic why Corsairs use ship which has Liberty Rogue markings, Liberty Rogue design over something they made. If they were unsatisfied with core, they can now use "PTrans" core blueprints and make one
Raba is open to corsair if you do the right thing I got one from them. Just rp, and use the good argument.
The raba is a good ship no need to change it. I wanted one since it was corsair design and as Primitive said , I though Raba is a better transport for Corsair.

Each time to deal with all the paperwork. How lovely. Now I know some people likes the feeling of "owning" some of the toys for no actuall reason, but I think the player feeling of owning against corsair actuall need of a transport is not even an argument.
Raba is one of the sair projects which was later given to hogosha .. and then hogosha gave it to samura for some extra tweaks. Anyway, for what exactly corsairs gived up the blueprints, for mare thanks? Sairs partly own raba, so it would make sense for them having some sort of easy access to it.
Maybe we are causing quite a bit of fuzz about it, but srsly, sair in LR ship? ... that's awful.
If you have some better ideas I'm sure ppl would love to hear them out.
The Raba transport started life as a failed Corsair warship design. Initially produced as a prototype to phase out the venerable M26, it was too large and slow moving even for the Corsairs. To avoid the loss of all the invested credits, The Corsair Council contacted friendly groups and offered the prototype and the design copies for sale. The Hogosha were the only interested group, and the project went to them. Corsair engineers stripped the prototype of all its high tech equipment and installed a Samura power core provided by the Hogosha. The final result provides greatly enhanced cargo hold, crew amenities and grace of movement. Samura was not willing to build further numbers in their own shipyards to avoid more internal and external diplomatic complications so The Farmer's Alliance offered to produce the Raba at their shipyards at Cape Soya Station, in exchange for the permission to build a number for their own purposes. Today, the Raba is active among both the Hogosha and Farmer's Alliance fleets.

' Wrote:It's not. And sairs flying rogue textured p transes looks stupid. So we have two options. Let sairs to use rabas or to create a new ship for sair usage.
"hard to maintain near crete"
1. Sairs aren't dumb with ships
2. Sairs have traderoutes with hogosha and even samura ppl. Yes, samura coming to Crete.
So what's the problem?
Samura is basically bribing the corsairs off to get an advantage in the Sigmas, not to actually help the Corsairs. At the same time they can drop off some of their surplus food production that doesn't sell that good anymore with Synth Foods moving into Kusari.
Furthermore it's a player thing and not in the lore, so I wouldn't stretch it too far.
' Wrote:While we're on the subject of the Raba, can we get an increase in its cargo size so that it can counteract the Pirate Transport?
That subject is already through and the stat adjustment is already pinned down as far as I know, so no need to further discuss it until the mod update.

No U! Because my efforts to get the M26 turned into a transport have failed.
