my x10 minpro (after half year on custom 2.2 ) after returning to original 2.1 refused to signin with google acc...that may be caused by my operator but meh, I removed all native google apps (market, mail, sync) and replaceed it all with different non google soft.
I mean, if it doesnt work with google, you always can use some different apps and services instead of native
