' Wrote:Yep, calling up your bud on Skype to circumvent roleplay and admin restrictions on faction powergaming sounds like metagaming to me.
Admin restrictions are, basically, the colored cells on the tech-chart. They didn't circumvent anything. The cell is white, they obtained the authorization. If the Admins wanted to exclude skype deals that would be in the rules.
I don't get the powergaming part either, but discussing the tech-chart further would be off-topic. It's possible to open a new thread of continue via PM, though. Or even Skype.

All of your deals should be completely public and transparent to the community or the roleplay is invalid.
We don't use information that our characters doesn't have inRP for RP purposes.
Skype was more convenient place for talk, since 7 guys near RH base, all shouting over each other wasn't best going.
Have you used Skype to conduct any business for FL game? If yes, why are you blaming us for it?
If no, why are you mistaking metagaming for using faction rights.

' Wrote:Let it be clear that OORP approvals are okay. The approvals don't have to be negotiated, folks can steal stuff with a nod and a wink from the faction leader as a player rather than a character. Characters who do steal stuff (and are allowed to do so.) should expect folks to be wanting them exploding at random intervals for having stolen stuff.

Fixed, [M]ollys aren't going to be just in Dublin like the last factions, we're going to filling the boots as the house's main hostile group and not just the Dublin inhabitants.

As you may have read in the Parliament proposal thread, I have issues with any faction conducting ooc metagaming skype deals, not just factions hostile to the ones I'm in. This isn't about BAF, but nice strawman.
' Wrote:Yep, I have, and the roleplay was subsequently published in Communication Channel. That's how you do it.
That's how you did it.
Maybe your public dealings wouldn't have impact on following RP. Our would have. Because ooRP knowledge still influence inRP actions.
Are you blaming us for trying to uphold the highest RP quality? I thought that what factions were supposed to be.
Anyways. You used Skype. By your definition, you metagamed. Doesn't matter if you faked roleplay after to make it public. It's even worse, to have almost pre written roleplay inmind.
