Mr Garrison... You've been a loyal member of the inner circle of this nation of ours for years, and as such... I feel inclined to bestow upon you a special honor: You are now the mirror, sword and shield of the nation, it's protector... it's hope for a future where all of Sirius knows the power of the Maltese. You are now its administrator.

I've shown my face only to a few, which means that it will be a simple matter to fill the void. Call me... a specter; a creature of propaganda, or a front man for your reign all along. Use your imagination. And in order to aid you on your quest I will leave all of the surveillance technologies I've developed since I first joined this nation, along with some notes and other... less human things which I believe you'd best see with your own two eyes to believe.

It's been a long road, Brand, and now we've arrived at a fork in the road. My path as an individual leads to damnation, I know as much. But yours? It is now merged with the path of an entire civilization. Shoulder the burden, and lay low all who stand before you.

Veni, Vidi, Vici.

Vale, my friend.

( /// this is an inrp post, so I'd appreciate if people wouldn't clutter it up with a lot of inanity. Oh, and could some moderator transfer the control of all threads belonging to the 101st to Patrician? Thank you, and farewell. )

Garrison read the communicae again, sure he was missing something. 'There is no way the Administrator is voluntarily stepping down,' Brandon thought 'unless this is some sort of trick....did he know?' Garrison started to check the security lock on his desk drawer containing the virus before he stopped, realizing that if Jameson truly wanted him dead, he'd be dead already.

More confused than ever, Garrison yelled for his orderly. 'Harrison! Send someone over to the Administrator's quarters and see if he is there. If he is not, check for his ship in the hanger. If he isnt THERE, have someone check his lab on Carinea.' Seeing Harrison about to say something, Garrison cut him off. 'Just do it Harrison, and hurry.'

Turning back to his computer, Garrison scanned all the files that Jameson had sent him. There were a lot; he had no idea the Administrator was involved in so many projects Garrison had never heard of. Holy crap, he thought he had paperwork now. Fascinated, Garrison lost track of time reading when his desk beeped. 'Its Harrison sir. No sign of the Administrator, his ship was gone from the hangar, but Carinea....well, what I saw of it showed no sign of him there. I didnt go far into his labs, gave me the creeps. Orders?'

Thinking quickly, Garrison replied. 'Get back here then; we'll just have to take him on his word until I can sift through everything he's sent me and figure out what the hell is going on. Oh, and Harrison? Get me an Admiral's uniform.'

Garrison sat back in his chair, thinking. He reached into his drawer and pulled out the virus he had gotten from the Scenes. Smiling to himself he dropped it back in the drawer. Waste not....
