Well, these are this month's top 10 most active factions on the server. I've heard recently that a lot of trade factions are undergoing hard times. I also wanted to show the flip-side of this by pointing out the above. Of this 10, a full 5 are trade factions or pseudo-corporations.
Three of the 10 are house corporations. The other two are different, yes (possessing many more freedoms and bonuses), but still trade orientated groups. Most interesting is the fact that groups such as Ageira and USI are actually more active than their own House military and security forces, as well as their rival ones.
Personally, I'm incredibly proud of Bowex (my own favourite) and all the other trade groups who made the cut. What do you guys think of this trend? Discuss.
What in Thud are you on about? I seldom if ever see our members running about in Juggies or Aquilons, sir/madam. We own them, but the idea that "caps" is our forte is ludicrous.
We trade. We schmooze. Some of us even preach Her Goospel. So it goes.

Bowex - fights Kusari, PvP.
IMG, fights many guys, PvP. Mining, huge profits.
[TAZ] - not trading faction as far as I know.
Ageira - couldn't really comment. I've never seen an Ageira escort ship before. Bowex - we've only fought Kusari a few times. Mostly it's just hitting Samura traders, like our ID lets us. It'd be sort of like criticising IC for attempting to set up shady deals with certain unlawful factions. Like their ID allows. IMG - Mining's a big appeal, yeah. They've got a huge roster. TAZ - I've only ever seen one TAZ capital. I don't think that really factors into it. Sort of like that one IC cruiser. :P
You do realise that USI has the most active corporate escort wing on the server, and actively hunts pirates and such in Liberty? They've even gone so far as to ask BMM to let them attack Rheinland from Douglas station. Not a criticism of them - I think they're doing an awesome job. But you, Snak3, can't write off a faction as not a 'trading faction', simply because they partake in the occasional bout of PvP. Maybe that would motivate IC a little more. Who knows? :D

Whats wrong with that tag?
@Topic
USI Has a bunch of stuff going for it honestly. You can almost always find an escort when you need one, there are almost always people to trade with and RP with or screw up any pirate who happens to be in liberty.
We've got some more stuff coming down thats being worked out that'll hopefully bring even more activity and at least bring something fun to do. I wont say what it is though. *smirks*
