They're all either blockaded or spammed to all hell by pirates, and don't make the amount of money I like in the same amount of time I could spend mining. Ergo, don't trade a lot..

Many trade routes are "best". It all depends what ID you choose as there are some RP restrictions what you can legally trade in.

F.E. I just found Sirius wide trade route for IC. Profits are good, besides one leg, but the important thing is, that the route is interesting.

There are many great trade routes out there, and Snake is right about the I.D. thing, but every restriction opens up a new door.

Blockades and hostiles are just part of the fun, but the real keys to good routes are variety, profit, and the average amount of RP you receive while doing them.

If you're measuring routes by the amount of profit you get than I'd suggest making a route that incorporates miners and their ores.

I used to mine long ago with a kruger hegemon mining uncut dimonds. Dont know where the field gone and i then transport superconductor to crete and blood dimond to denver. But it takes more time to earn as with 5000 cargo it gives over 20 mill profit and less pirate activity.
Does anyone know better route pls post

There are many trade routes which will give you the rough amount of profit. You just have to know which ones are suitable for your RP and make sure it makes sense for your character. People are not going to tell you their most profitable routes because if they do their routes will start getting traffic and therefore attract more piracy.

Sit down with Freelancer Companion for a bit and you can figure out the good routes for yourself. I will however give you one route.

Food Rations from Gran Canaria (Omega-49) to Crete (Omicron-Gamma), then take Oxygen from Crete to Freeport 5 (Omicron-41). Then Spaceship Crew from Freeport 5 to Freeport 9 (Omicron-Theta). Jet over to Corfu Base (Omicron-Theta) and grab H-Fuel and haul that to Gran Canaria (Omega-49).

A very in role play route for a Zoner.
