I think you should take it to respective factions' feedback threads and provide leadership with screenshots instead of screaming into void.

I think the behavior you described is abusive and very poor form. However I believe that without pointing fingers people won't realize their involvement and responsibilities.

Every faction has bad apples in the basket, some are stealthish and their faction leaders are not aware of their behaviour. Such apples should be countered by non else then indies and rest of folks who interact with said faction.
Explaining behaviour supported with SS to Faction leader and after getting an answer from him, pozitive or negative is the way to found out, is it really that entire faction supports/ignores such behaviour or just certain member who's behaviour wasn't noticed till now.

I believe some people will tolerate such behaviour till certain limit as mentioned faction member is doing or already has done some good work for faction.

This kind of behaviour can be seen pretty much everywhere, it's the first impression that folks got from indie caps, and people automaticly judge indie caps as lolwuts until proven otherwise, so ye it sucks, I seen it, dun support it. Even in faction that I used to run I could see such behaviour from time to time, did my best to fix it, but you can't fix something you dunno it's broken, so I am always saying, talk with faction leader with supported SS, but over skype or pm, not public forums, cause we all know where that leads.

And ye I know, kinda repeating stuff, everyone are saying stuff like this, but really I don't know other way to counter it, and people today are judging to fast by action of others and not actually playing for a while with them and then seeing how they behave.

Was it low ranking members or those more experienced or even so called Disco vets?
If it was new, they might have overreacted or acter on stereotypical RP. If it were the latter two, that is a sign of arrogance.

What Snac3 said.
I as well have problems with Indies- RUСС molly miner who parks his gms train and his bmm train on arranmore and swears a lot in Russian when I blast his ore when he dock to switch the ships in order to haul but I would not say that all indies are lolwuts , one indie Molly Bloodyn have more RP skill then any in [M] so you cannot judge the others on that matter.

oke my constructive feedback on it :

talking like that is OORP behaviour of said faction member and he should keep it out of the game , since this game is about *drumroll*

role play

Faction Rules Wrote:RESPONSIBILITIES ASSOCIATED WITH RIGHT 2

2) Official factions that are attempting to represent the entirety of a NPC affiliation have the responsibility to be caretakers of the history and evolving storyline of the NPC faction in such a way that it remains open to involvement by non-player faction affiliates to the extent that is permitted by the server rules. Official factions have a responsibility to incorporate willing and responsible "independent" characters belonging to their NPC faction affiliation into the ordinary operations and activities taking place in the faction's territory as much as possible. Official faction members have the responsibility to set a high standard of roleplaying within character, as well as courtesy and respect during all OOC communications. Official faction members should strive to follow the spirit of the server rules to the best of their ability, and avoid rules-lawyering, loopholing, or exploiting their knowledge for personal gain. Official factions should strive to be the primary instigators of fun within the faction affiliation, and excel as problem solvers and conflict resolution experts when there are player difficulties.

Whichever official faction Spaz is talking about needs to take a look at the faction rules.

Spazman, you are 100% correct.

And its not only one faction.

I know 2 where what you say is the case.

People HAVE tried to resist that kind of behavior from certain official members, but when they did they faced the wrath of the entire official faction, and also oorp revenge from the enemies of the faction (probably the same guys or their friends).

I'd be all for complaints with screenies on the forum.

But most of the guys who get insulted like that dont usually post on the forums.

And if they do post... well... "trialbyforumz Q_Q lolwhut iB4tl who are you noob anyway".

You would need someone with enough experience and forum activity to post it in a presentable way.

Some have.

But ohhh man...

Some NASTY sh*t happened there, I tell you.

Use search function on "Akumabito".

And a few more names that spring to mind.

Skype + power to hand out goodies and favors = army of unscrupulous <strike>oportunists</strike> "friends" that will do pretty much anything for you

Part of the problem is that this sort of poor behavior that you mentioned is that persons way of gaining reputation and doing favors in that faction.

You would think that that cant actually work.

Well.

Here, it does, evidently so.
