' Wrote:To answer your question, yes it's possible to get a Freelancer tag. How to do it? Well... That would be a spoiler wouldn't it? It's Discovery, go discover!:)
Aren't Angels supposed to tell folk how to get tags?
Well I've got one... and I will tell you. Cos I don't think it is a spoiler. We all need the tags that match our RP. To say you should discover it yourself if silly. Especially as the Freelancer tag is almost impossible to guess without being told or looking at the empathy file. It simply makes no RP sense.
I've got it down to about 2 hours of play.
You need a ship that can kill Zoner Guards before you start.
You then need to kill zoner guards (being careful not to get the zoners actually red) and double bribe zoners until you become a freelancer.
' Wrote:Yeah, but Bounty Hunter bribes are much more common, and you can fail their missions.;)
Failing bh missions sends you in the wrong direction. I used to get the freelancer tag by doing their missions but it took weeks.
bh bribes are more common... and it is easier to find them on non-bh stations. So you can allow yourself to go fully red by killing lots and lots of bh guard or liberty police. However the effect of the bribes is a lot less.
Like I said I can get a freelancer tag in about 2 hours now, it has taken me a lot of trial and error to get there.
If you can beat 2 hours then say exactly what you are doing and I'll admit you know something I don't.
The other thing about my way is that the only people you kill are Zoner Guards... This means that other factions largely stay at the same rep with you. Only LWB and GMG are candidates for getting to full green before Freelancer. (In fact you get to full green on freelancer first... just be careful if you only need a little more green on freelancer not to make the last zoner bribe a big one).
