That's correct, folks, as I see it it has officially passed out of the range of Balance Issues and moved on into the realm of Witch Hunt. Look at us-every time I look there's another person asking a question about big ships and they immediately get "NO BUY IT! I KILL YOU!" That's enough, ladies and gents, we get the message. At this point, we have surpassed a psychological boundary which I think will drastically lower the purchase of Battleships anyway. Can we give it a rest? Every time I get out on the server with mine I have some nutjob yelling at me "CAP-WHORE, CAP WHORE!!!!!111" It's gotten so bad I've even stopped blowing them up. It was a balance issue for months, but now it's done with, but we're still having huge battleship-burnings. Everybody's going on about "Oh, battleships are awful, am I glad I only ever bought one. Teehee." Stop it, people, are you trying to make me feel guilty for havig one? Some sanity, please. What do you think would happen if I went up and made a huge scene about, say, Fighter imbalance? Should we all start saying "Oh, that little fighter is so overpowered, am I glad I sold all mine" ? At this point it's just people making a scene and bandwagoning. Can we go home now? The show got boring a while ago... There is such a thing as owning too many battleships, but the only one I've ever know to was Hylden and myself, and those are defunct issues now.

We ARE out to burn a large list of others, though... but anything named after a classic Disney film is too priceless to target, buddy.
The reason we're still going on about it is because we want to see people roleplaying like yourself, not trying to overcompensate for their own deficiencies.
What we're out to burn is every new guy who comes along and says "ZOMG! DA BE DA UBAH SHIPZORS!! ME WAAAANT". And yes, i've had sevral of those in new york, while i was there sitting on my CCC and some guy in a big ship came by.
Hell, the Fantasia is a beauty eppy, and i think that most ( if not all ) of the some what older Discovery members think the same. If the "Noobs" ( how you so nicely put it ) cant take that, well, all i have to say is : Welcome to discovery! Prepare to get blown up!
Allso, owning a battleship should basicly be a reward. Such as the Fantasia is for a good RP story. It shouldnt be there for every new guy just so that he can "pwn n00bs". Its a flying status symbol if you ask me, nothing more, nothing less.

I never thought I had too many battleships... had only 6 at once... :laugh:

You should know better that your sarcasm does not amuse me/does not hurt me. I had too much free time back then, I invested that time into trading bla bla bla got battleships bla bla bla and gave them to other people. The only thing I would appreciate is that you should see more behind that 'six' numbers. I gave my ships to the factions they were part of.

Its more about how some ID's are restricted from owning them and then they are not even provided means to defend themselves.
Nerfing of smaller ships.
