I never played homeworld, but the new ships look good, especially the one next to the Greyhound on TLR pic. It has 3 arms/wings with the same textures.

Yes, provided that they're modelled properly. The Huegenot is one of the best new models I've seen so far. It reminds me of the Hiigaran Carriers.

hum... i think that the ION frigate is kinda like the liberty cruiser cause it has that big gun that shoots out of the front. Also there is some mod, cant remember its name but it replaces all the ships i think with HW 1s. Its called HWconversion or somthing like that
