Tons of materials and many many hours of hard labor, turn a desert into a place that less 1000 people call home.
A small underground river gives the water, and when need it, to not unbalance the nature, from space near Gran Canaria, we mine it. But the most difficult has to turn a desert on a fertile soil.
We could use fertilizers to do this but ... no! We want real food, natural food, healthy food. So no chemicals were used because quality comes first. We use a bio mass made by thousands cargo units of dead alien organisms. Many and many ships fully loaded was need, many and many hours of hard labour was need. But it was worthy. We bought many already grow plants and trees, most have their origins back to the Earth from the Sol System, and some already have given their fruits.
Houses were made, large buildings support this small community, that includes a school, hospital and a research lab. An large hangar also has built, big enought for all ships and capable of doing small repairs.
But the that is not all. Underground a large bunkers connected by tunnels, hold several h-fuel generators to not only supply power to the buildings, but also a shield generator. Omega 49 is not a safe system and any hit on the surface can make terrible damages.

Viriato, the leader of New Lusitania, enters the room. Already there was Henrique (the manager of New Lusitania), Afonso (the captain of Caravela), Vasco (the captain of the Nau), Nuno (captain of Rabelo), Joao (chief of security) and Egas (medical and researcher).
-Viriato- Greetings my friends. good to see you all at the same time, a bit rare this days *smiles*. So what we have to say. Henrique?
Henrique, manager, it he who coodenates all on New Lusitania.
-Henrique- Well ... i have nothing to say for now! I'm expecting a full load of h fuel and two loads of allien organims from the Nau but all this next weak. The rest is all fine now! Sadly this conflict between bretonia and Rheinland ended that lucrative ore transport but our financials are good.

-Viriato- No Rheinlanders?
-Nuno- No. i don't know what they are saying but i think Rheinland will not like. Summers was there but i think we has expelled from the meeting!
-Viriato- Good. Many people died by the fire of a rheinland mortar, but the real one to blame is he and all that was before him. No shields on a station that had suffer so many bombarments? God!!!!
- Nuno- Now she has, and the energy readings are very similiar to the ones on FP9. We managed to dock there ... it was a mess! To many people working and too many soldiers! All main damages are repaired so it is a full ready station!
-Viriato- But FP1 is a civilian station and not a battlestation like that stupid newzonerthatsmokesanythingbraindamaging turned into! Do you know who is enjoy all this? The Corsais! hey are loving to see their enemies shooting each other!
- Nuno- Their raids on Bretonia increased a lot! Now is even normal to see Osiris and even Legates on Cambridge. They are expecting in what Omega3 will become, and what can help then on Omega 47, mainly on the reconquest of Casablanca!
-Viriato- Ok then!! Let's talk about we! Joao how are your teams?
-Joao- They are all prepared and ready to go anywhere (Joao is the security chief, a former house military special forces, commander of two elite tactical teams consisting of several also former military members and zoners, higly trained not only in security but also on offencive actions on land and space)
-Viriato- Any equippent you need?
-Joao- Well ... some land vehicles would be great! Some light high mobile could give some more experties to the teams! The rest all all ok! Weapons ... protective gear ... comms gear ... explosive gear ... we have the best avaiable so nothing more is need!
-Viriato- And about New Lusitania?
-Joao- All turrets are placed and can be controled on the Control room located on the main bunker! Several sensor arrays are placed around the base and the air radar is working. So nothing come in without we know it. Also all mines are placed so if anyone ventures ... boom!
-Henrique- I also want to say something! About the shields! The area is too big and can have some problems! We ned some more mateirials like h fuel generatores and super conducters and high temperature alloys!
-Viriato- And what is the problem? Just say and Vasco brings it!
-Vasco- I can't get superconductores. The Nau can't dock on house bases and i have no one on Liberty to get then to me!
-Henrique- The only place we can get is on Livadia, but not only will be expensive as also i don't think that they have he amounts we need.
-Viriato- How many we need?

-Viriato- *silent for a bit* Vasco can you get all the rest?

-Egas- Not really! (Dr. Egas Moniz, former researcher of Cambridge) No medical needs and the research on alien organisms are doing well. We are still wating for some more tests but, has already was proven, is better we bring then from Sigma 17 or Theta than we cultivate then.

*Viriato is looking by the window on the meeting room, a heavy rain is falling, whn all others arrive*
-Viriato- Greetings all. Let's start this shall we?
*All took their place around the table*
- Viriato- Ok then... news Nuno?
-Nuno- We went to FP3 and FP10. All loks in order. FP3 is more quiet now, since the ceace fire, and all damages are repaired. I belive that the action returned to Omega 7, where IMG and Rheinland corporations are fighting for ore. On FP10 we found a normal station, not busy, very quiet. It is full operational but it could be better. Not all capacities are been used. It could have a better use. Nobody knows the one that wants to manage FP10 so ... until further advances i belive is better stay managed by he present manager.
-Viriato- Good. And the summit?
-Nuno- No news. The security is very eficient. We can't get too much closer.
-Viriato- No problem. Afonso?
-Afonso- No new news on Omicrons. And since the Nau is not operating a lot our patrols are not very active.
-Viriato- Ok then. Henrique... what is this? *points to is pocket computer where is an contruction plan*
-Henrique- Well ... you once said that we were building a temple for all non hostile religions! With all those superconductors we found a away to improve the shields capacities. We have the hanger to the west, the biodome on north and the main buildings facilities on east. A major structure on south would would be a major improve and also a better looking.
-Viriato- And all this will be need?
-Henrique- Not all for that. It is for the temple, the center tower and also... one of the main problms of New Lusitania is the lack of water. The undergorund river barely suplies our basic needs, and if we take advantage of weather like today, we can solve most of the problems. A reservatory near the west mountain, could solve the lack of water for the cultures, and that means less time mining water!
-Viriato- Idon't like the idea of an Aquilon shooting ice blocks on the space on Omega 49 to bring water!! And what are this vehicles?

-Henrique- We need no more than that, so is better we organize the contracts. I spoke to the foundry and we can delivery all because they can store all and can start to work right away. So if we can get all as soon as possible, i can call the outside builders to start working.

* Viriato stands outside, watching the constructions of the temple and the final stage of the shields, when all arrive*
-Viriato- Greetings gentlemen! (he is not amused) What you have to say?! (two days ago, two small UAVs were shoot down on New Lusitania.
-Joao (the security chief) - We don't know yet!! The two UAVs were shot down on the south sector away from the main area. We have few turrets there and the UAVs were very small and very fast, and since it was on a valley it was very difficult to shot then.

-Henrique- The team found a small ore deposit! Gold to be more exact. Not too many! Is not worthy a big scale mining. Makes more remind those small mines found on the west of America, back on Earth on the 19th century. We will not get rich but is better than nothing.
-Viriato- How many gold?

I think that we can take then using Alpha team, has a infiltrate unit and Beta can storm the place on vehicles giving fire support to Alpha, and then retrieve Alpha and prisioners. From he spcae the Lusitano can give extra support by blowing up the gates and main building.

- Viriato - Do they have a ship?
- Joao - Just a dromedary!
- Nuno - It is even on Port Canaria right now to take suplies to the camp!!
*Viriato has thinking for a moment *
- Viriato - No Joao! Let change the plan! I want Alpha and Beta teams ready, Delta is not ready yet so we don't use then. I want both eams on vehicles to be transport on the Nau to Port Canaria. Henrique i don't care how you manage but i want the Nau docked near the slaver ship. After that we take the slaver ship and transfer the teams to the Dromedary. We will use their ship has a trojan horse. After that on the camp after landing we storm the place, Alpha will use attack vehicles and will take the building for any intel that can take, while Beta will use transports vehicles and will get the prisioners, after that we will get out of the place by land. Afonso i want you to be on the Lusitano and give fire support from space, will you Nuno on the Rabelo you will show after the attack begin and give close fire support!

* Joana continues talking but suddenly she starts to fell dizy and her "friend" help her taking to a cargo land vehicle here the kiddnaper leader was waiting*
- Viriato to Delta team and to the Rabelo - Gentlemen, don't lose sight!
*Somewhere on the Port Canaria, on a apartment block, Joana awakes up, she was tied and gagged, still feeling dizzy, she listening what the kidnappers talinking about her*
- Kiddnaper leader - This one is really a cute!! She will bring a lot of cash!

*kiddnaper goons start laugh out loud*

* Joana says some bad words! But unnotice two Delta snipers are on the building other side of the street, while the rest of Delta and Viriato are already at the door of the apartment*
- Viriato on comms to the snipers - What you have?

- Delta sniper 2 - I have another goon stand up near goon 1!
- Viriato on comms - Good! Wait for the signal and take then down! Delta ... preapare to enter!
* Delta team puts in position, two members prepare to take down the door*
- Viriato - Remember we need to take the other two alive! Ready?! On my mark ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... Go!
* The two members take down the door and the rest of the team storm the apartement, while the two snipers take down the two goons. The two remain kiddnapers surprise surrender with out resistance.
- Viriato unties Joana - Are you ok?
- Joana - Not yet! *she goes to the kiddnaper and hit him on the lower parts* Now i'm ok!
- Viriato smiling - Come on! Bring those two, and "clean this"!
* Later on New Lusitania, both kiddnapers are tied up on a small dark room, Viriato enters the room with some soldiers*
- Viriato - Hello gentlemen! My name is Viriato and i will be your host. Now we here ahave a good tradition of welcoming guest but ... if we are going to maintain that tradition it will depend of you!!
- Kiddnaper Leader - What you want?!! Who are you guys?!!!

- Viriato - We know what you guys do, and we don't like it! So what i want, that you both find redemption for your acts and tell me where are the slaver camps!!

- Viriato - Looks like you know something!! Now tell me where i can find that Thulsa Doom and the rest of the camps!!

* Viriato takes his gun and blow the kiddnaper heads*

* the kiddnaper leader tells every thing he knows, give the locations of the camps he knows and all information about someone call Thulsa Doom*
