I have to report some more deliveries for the Black Sails-Contract followed by some "incident".

When I had delivered the last 5000 Food Rations, I took some Nanocapacitors with me on my way back to Gran Canaria.
A merc called Merc.O'Business was waiting for me in Omega-41 when I jumped out of Gamma.
First he said he desperately needs money and wishes to provide even the smallest escort service. When I declined he asked, whether he could come along to watch out for other opportunities. I agreed to this, as space is free to travel for everyone.

He followed me to Gran Canaria, where I picked up another load of Food Rations - designated for Freeport 9 of course. He followed me the whole way to Freeport 9 (I had a perfect excuse not to reenter Gamma with this cargo).
While arriving at Freeport 9 he was still following me. I met Bob and we first decided to ship some H-Fuel by taking it from Naha. But to distract that merc, we took some Pharmaceuticals in Sigma-19 at Atka instead and moved them through Omicron-74 to Freeport 11.

It looks like the merc finally lost interest, when Bob decided to remain docked at Freeport 11. I carried on by shipping some Iridium and was on route to newcastle, when I suddenly received this private comm directed at me:

For some reason I have the strong feeling we are being spyed at...

Subject: The long absence of one Zeb Vale
Message begins

My humble apologies to all OSI members and bosses /especially the latter, he he/ for my prolonged and unanounced absence.
The reason for it is quite simple. Back a few months ago I was on an IMG supply run to Holman. My docking at the outpost coincided with an effort in the refugies relocating program. In the total chaos of me unloading cargo and a lot of people trying to leave the system, I managed to place my head in the way of a loading crane arrow.
Being wiser than the said piece of equipment, the head gave way. As a result, I was sent as a John Doe to the outpost's infirmary, where I spent the next month trying really hard to find out the limits of IMG's medical personel's competence. They proved quite capable indeed, as my surviving undoubtedly proves.
The next couple of months I spent in and out of consiousness/ I am an old man, you know/.
By the time I was able to leave the hospital, the Long Con was carrying quite a debt in docking and maintenance fees - another mess to sort through.

And finaly, here I am, /almost/ healthy and ready to resume my duties again. Expect new delivery reports from Zeb Vale and the Long_Con in the very near future.

Report on a threatening situation.

Well, today Mr. Laster and I had a rather worrying encounter. Mr. Laster contacted me with regards to unloading his ZBT-100Z "Whale" class vessel in Gallic space as the transport cannot moor easily with stations in House Space. (//hell if I know, need an explanation for it tho//) I therefore activated the transport I keep moored in Gallia, (For a rather large fee if I may add.) to assist with the unloading of the Whale class vessels.

It appears that there is a faction within the Navy that wishes to prevent us from being there. Rather violently it seems. It would put my mind at ease if a member of the Management could talk to the Princess about this. I am feeling rather like we should cut ties with Gallia and pull out of there entirely. Enemies on both sides who appear to be willing to use force to remove us.

Me and Mr. Laster managed to talk them out of killing us for that short while but I hold no illusions that they will be friendly towards the next transport they see as they seem to be under the misconception that OSI controls the actions of all Zoners.

Church. You know you can take a vacatin right? No one would complain, you've more than done your fair share of the work around here. I hear Baden Baden is rather nice this time of year. Or perhaps Curacao? Your pick, we'll pick up the tab. Your report is rather worrysome. I'm begining to question if the monarchy in Gallia are even in control anymore. First their police and now their navy? We'll inquire about this CCCP group.
