Leonardo! The Accomodations are fine....Thanks for sharing yer troubles. I have to say mate, I tend to look at these things sideways on and catch a solution out the corner of my eye. Exact focus ain't my strong point.

So..I'll dig around in the long grass while you grapple with the day to day,,,,you never know what may turn up. Glad just to be here to brew the coffee and chip in on the conversation if that's alright?

Mal leaned against a young apple tree in the Leonardo's central biodome, gazing off at Planet Eris in the distance. The vast spaces of the Jinkusu had a peaceful, yet somehow "empty" aura about them..

He heard footsteps behind him, and poked his "third eye" around the tree for a second. Taking another toke of his Sacremental cheroot, he passed it over his shoulder without looking.

"Greetings, John. Take a load off. I was waiting for a few more folk to arrive before joining Leo in his quarters."

Mad John took the offerred cheroot. "Ye bugger, how do ye do that?", he said as he sat next to Mal, partaking of the holy smoke deeply before passing it back.

Mal just smiled, and said "Practice".

They sat in silence, sharing the moment.

A scimitar using the call-sign 'Madya' was approaching the large vessel.
Its pilot, after checking Fnordnet to ensure this was indeed the home of that new pope, nodded sceptically.

The vessel finally requested docking clearance and the fighter entered in the Juggernaught's docks.

The woman softly came out of the cockpit, glancing around.
She was wearing quite unusual clothes, along with a semi-transparent face veil.

Crossing her arms, she observed the people working there.
She finally nodded imperceptibly and left the docks, ignoring the people around her.

The woman finally found two popes in one of the biodomes of the vessel. And not really averages ones.
She simply stood behind them, waiting...

Mal's Pineal tingled again. "Let her wait", he thought....

The peaceful silence stretched on for a few moments, though there a was slight air of tension beneath it, like the smell of ozone after a lightning storm.

Finally...

"Greetings, Lady Mnemosyn. I still detect a bit of 'red' in your aura, but I am happy to see you nonetheless.

"I regret that we can't offer you a chair, or a throne, but join us if you wish."

He extended the cheroot, which had become significantly shorter during the interlude..

The Trident Of Eris makes her to move rendevous with the ISS Leonardo.
The majestic ship moves to a holding pattern 5 klicks above the Leonardo, briefly blocking the light of Baffin's sun and begins it's transmission.

"This is The Trident Of Eris. Xavier Triton will be proceeding to the Leonardo immediately."

And as quickly as it was said, Xavier Triton's personal fighter exits the hanger of The Trident and begin's it's short flight to the Leonardo's docks.

Once docked, Xavier exits the cockpit of his fighter, the Ticked Phoenix and looks around, tasting the air.

"Mmm, fresh...and clean, perhaps I need to have a talk with the Environmental officer in charge when I get back to the Trident. Why doesnt my air taste this good?"

Following his silent assessments of the air quality, Xavier proceeds to the designated meeting place on the Leonardo.

Xavier enters one of the Leonardo's large biodomes, sees a gathering of Popes, adjusts his overcoat and proceeds to join them.

"Kallisti Popes and more specifically, Pope Leo. Has the party started without me?"

Leo went to the biodomes and met the new guests.

" Welcome aboard milady! Please let me introduce since we have met only via comms. I'm Reynard Gull, but please call me Leo, that is my nickname...

Pope Triton, welcome on my ship. I'm glad that you make it here. And no, you're not late. Please feel yourself at home. You'll receive a proper quarter in a minute."

After the conversation the Pope invited the guests to the conference room.

"Oh I've almost forgot to introduce you Carl Von Schiller, a friend of mine, he is second in command of my vessels. He will provide you information about the ship or about anything else. He's a fine man... So please follow him he will lead you."

The captain gave the orders to move the ship near a star, so the landscape would be better. The new location was transmitted to every guest so they can find the ship.

"Well, we wait a little more than we can discuss some things too. Since you are here you can check your ships in the hangar from the computers in front of you. Please arrange everything and enjoy this little time while you're are here. If you need something ask me and I can arrange everything. May Eris bless us all."

Finishing the conversation Leo turn to Pope Triton.
"I would like to ask some advice about the upgrades, please share some thought about the vessel. Since we have enough time you could also share some information about you. We should know each other better."
A bit louder.." I would like to know each of you better, so share your thought and feeling with me."

A sabre named Iridescent is getting closer and closer to the Leonardo. The girl sitting in it pokes the pineal amulets because of boredom. She sighs and stretches her arms.

"Geez..That was a long way back here from New York. Alright, here we go.."

She pushes a few buttons and opens a communications channel

"ISS Leonardo, this is the Iridescent. Requesting permission to dock. Angelina Paine here"

The confirmation came right after she requested the permission. The sabre is headed towards the docking bay. Angelina carefully landed the ship and jumped out of it.

"Right! Where's the party?"

Leo was running all the way down to meet the new guest. "Aww, this ship is quite big...."

"Kallisti Angelina! Nice to meet you onboard. I'm Leonardo, but I guess you know my name already. You can join the other at conf. room if they are still there. If not contact the via internal comms. Welcome, and feel yourself at home since it is a home. I'll arrange an apartment for you. Any special requirements?"

Leonardo lead the way to the conference room, and on the way he is talking with Angelina about discordian matters..

Xavier ponders Leo's question as he watches Leo rush off to greet the new arrival.
Indeed the ship was a fine example of a Juggernaught.

"Leo mentioned upgrades" Xavier said to himself.

The cleaner air may not be a standard feature as Xavier once realised. He did notice a certain vibrancy in the plant life on the biodomes.
The ships internal power grid was also...different somehow. Xavier was used to the slight hum of a Juggernaut...this one was quieter...more serene, Not as mechanical. Perhaps it was his imagination but one
thing was certain, the ship wasnt fresh from factory.

"Interesting. Hmm, he also said he wanted to learn more about me. Maybe I should dust off the old Memoirs I have lying about in the database. He was kind enough to share his life story."

Xavier activates his wrist communicator.

"Trident, this is Xavier, can you send over a copy of a document titled "Memoirs of Xavier Triton" straight to my communicator?"

The wrist communicator responds with a man's voice.

"Yes Mr Triton, we'll have it sent over in a moment, the server is currently under maintenance"

Xavier raises an eyebrow

"Maintenance, already? I just left and I'm sure maintenance was finished."

The man responds glumly,

"Well, after the maintenance....*sigh* One of the crew had the bright idea of "stress testing" the server with a Denial of Service attack"

Xavier frowns

"Who would do such a....wait...dont tell me"

The man and Xavier exclaim in unison

"PAN!" "PAN!"

Xavier massages his brow in frustration

"Just have the document sent as soon as you can and I'll pretend everything is fine and dandy."

The man responds, yet again, glumy

"Yes, Mr. Triton"
