The last thing she expected from this party was an Order agent to come to her. This Johan Lennox didn't know how to lie properly, but who knows, she thought. Perhaps he could be different, perhaps he was one of the few that didn't lose their moral sense after spending some time in The Order.
"It's a pleasure, Mister Lennox. I'm Kate Miller. But please, have a seat."
He nodded gently and sat down. Seemed like everything would be alright. One half of himself thought he would somehow make the purple haired woman angry or displeased with his presence. He inspected her eyes shortly, searching for signs of hidden feelings. But there was nothing. Nothing that showed aggression, nor the tending to make an action against himself. Even if he knew her name he was right with the thought he actually didn't know anything about the person infront of him.
"Do you have fun here? It seems like there are some people who are not looking quite pleased...how comes that? I mean....are there just prejudices or is there something bigger?
*before she could reply, Johan added something* Ehm and....forgive me if I am talking and asking so much...I am just a bit curious...."
He finished the last sentence with a short, slight smile towards her, looking around shortly if he could grab a bottle of something special.
He nodded to both. "Because I've not been.. at the surface of things for quiet some time. So consider this my little, I am alive appearance.. though I am sure Staite will be right on her report shortly."His head shifted to look at Bolevara and gave a respectful smile. "Well, my regards be with him too... as for respecting my decisions, soon you will find that you'd rather kill me.. now if you don't mind, I'd rather stay to my dates side since she seems incapable of doing the same."
He walked away from the Hunters and Bolevara leaving them to converse with each other, he hated these events dearly. The only reason he had come was because he had the chance to take Kate somewhere. He moved towards her to see she was already talking to a man at a table. He moved to sit next to Kate how ever didn't say anything. His eyes glanced to Doc Holliday every so often but mostly remained on the two.

"Yes," Doc nodded to Eriksson, "Tombstone Estate not too far away really. It's currently about 30,000 acres, most of which is unspoiled and undeveloped. It makes for some nice horseback riding. I do agree it is good to know who your neighbors are and just how nice this planet really is. I really don't want to raise my children on a station out in space if I can help it."
During one of the pauses in their conversation, Sombrero returned, wanting to join them. Doc just motioned to an empty chair. Still, he continued his conversation with Eriksson, a lot of it neighborly type chat of two men getting to know each other. Eriksson had the advantage as the work and reputation of Doc was well known, a lot more than Eriksson was to Doc.
Santiago sipped the cretan tequila, enjoying the memories that the taste brought back; she occasionally glanced at Miller, unable to resist to keep an eye on her. Now that theimmediate alarm caused by her presence seemed to have faded aay, she concentrated more on her figure; she smirked at the purple hair, considering them frivolous and a sign of bad taste. She shook her head and walked away, looking for other rooms of the estate to explore.
"Yes, that's quite the cause. Growing up in a oversized tin can instead of a beautiful planet such as this would really be a shame. Even if the station had biodomes it really wouldn't be the full experience every man and women need to be happy." Eriksson pauses for a second before continuing on.
"I believe you're quite aware of your reputation, Doctor. My reputation on the other hand is only perhaps a fraction of yours. But even so I'm pretty known amongst Order folk. And Rheinland engineering for that matter. Such a shame they had to use my creation as a tool for war instead of justice and recreation. Well maybe later when all these political nonsenses vaporize maybe it will be such. I'm a simple man you know. I just like antique things. This entire estate is a replica of a castle on Earth. Such beautiful things our ancestors had. Such a shame." Eriksson took a sip from his martini.
"Well, Doctor, how's it like being a Zoner these days? Not that bad I hope."

May common sense stay with you...it's what lacking in Sirius these days. Bolevara muttered at the couple's back. Giving a brief nod to the Hunter family, he circulated around to the bar, and ordered a few small drinks. With threats like that around...wouldn't do to be tipsy.
From his vantage point at the bar, he saw an odd one out. A stiffly formal dragon stood near the host and Doc Holliday, clearly being left alone. Bolevara remembered something about Dragons and their hand to hand skills. Raising his hand a little, he motioned to the Dragon.
The minutes were passing slowly as he was waiting for the meeting with Ravenov. Refusing to drink a second cup of sake, Akechi kept glancing around the room, also staring carefully at Miller's moves from time to time. Once he noticed Bolevara's hand gesturing at him, the Kusari man slipped through the crowd, reaching the Order agent.

"It has it's ups and downs," replied Doc to Eriksson about being a Zoner, "mostly I don't mind it at all. I can work in relative peace, not having to worry about the affairs of others and the wars they seem to need to fight."
Doc again scanned around his surroundings and nodded, "And a fine replica of an old Earth castle. I built our home based off of an old western style ranch. Plenty of living space with a com center and my private west room and a large area of Kusari style gardens for Midori. The rest of the land remains untouched besides a small lakeside cabin on the north side.
Doc took a sip of his drink and thought a moment. "War," he began, "it is a shame that Sirius must fight amongst themselves after coming here to escape that past."
He shook his head as if to snap out of a daydream. "Recreation," he smiled, "horseback riding and skeet shooting are a couple of my relaxers."
"Flying is mine. But, nowadays you can't fly without being interrupted by something or someone. I manage to have a nice flight every now and then, but not as much as I used to." Eriksson takes another sip from his martini.
"Horseback riding you say? Sounds delightful. Is it as hard as they say it is?"
