Don't know if it's been mentioned but even if it has it deserves to be mentioned again.

Lets start you off with something moderatly sane...

Howabout Hero? Anyone seen it?

It's a movie from around 2004, starring Jet Li, along with other various awesome people. Its set in ancient China, so you get a fairly large dose of swordfighting and martial arts coolness, but the movie itself is more than just a action exhibition. It's stylized as a sweeping historical epic, and fits into that roll well, but I actually think it goes beyond that. It's alot diffrent from what one would expect, so if you think you've got it all figured out in the middle of watching it, well, you havn't. The only problem is that I have been unable to find a dubbed version of the movie, so unless you know how to speak chinese, you're most likly going to have to be reading subtitles during the film. Over all, it's one of my favorite movies of all time, so I'd highly suggest checking it out. Also, the use of color in the film is just amazing.

Oh and 12 Monkeys. Don't forget that.

Note: I think I posted this exact thing a few minutes ago, so if a double post shows up in an hour, don't blame me <.<

Let it burn.

For those of you interested in action movies, I'd suggest seeing Gamer. The film stars Gerald Butler, being a manly man, as usual. Basically, it's set in the future, where videogames have evolved into a widespread form of entertainment, featuring acutal people being controlled to act as 'game characters.' Its rated R, and justly so, so don't say I din't warn you (Its mainly just some people exploding and a few tits, nothing majorly scarring). The story is ok, but the actors really do a great job not overdoing it. The guy who plays "Dexter" on TV plays the villian, and, well, he does an amazing job of it. The music in the film is really awesome too, and when combined with their use of color filters on the camra, it adds a lot to the film.

Let it burn.
