Having an interest in being there does not allow you to go where you want.
As a Corsair, I would have a vested interest in killing Outcasts in the Taus.
Does this mean i get to take my praefect up there?

The idea is that BHG spent the resources to bring us there. we don't have a large presence in delta. Its not like we are sending a huge mining operation or anything. iRP it's just a speculation group. We are speculating to see if any future mining operation would be profitable. The BHG-core offered this to us, and we are taking it. we will leave in due time since a) ZOI, b) its a temporary event , c) Supplies are too thin for anything sustainable. d) the mining yield doesn't give a bonus. we actually have no advantage mining in delta, since buying from freeport10 is more profitable going there and back by the time we fill up on iridium from mining

In fact I have raided Alpha from Taus on my Corsair. I don't see why you couldn't go to Taus on your Corsair. You would not be the first one nor the last one.

If i was reported to the admins, I'd get beamed back to Gamma. If i was lucky.

corporations aren't perfect entities. they take risks which dont always lead to good outcomes.
BHG offered us a security guarantee, and bowex) has guaranteed shipments. as a result, BMM is taking advantage of this security and sending a small mining team to speculate if the place is cost effective at all. BMM doesn't know anything about delta, and it would certainly like to find out if there is any way of extracting money from it in the near future. A corporation in real life can make these bad decisions. So what if YOU know this will come to nothing? bad decisions happen, and i have a right iRP to make them.

consider this: whats the difference if an indie mining group went to delta? they are somehow more legible to be there? BMM was essentially hired to mine in this zone. We are essentially contracts that the BHG picked out. Whether we stay is an answer everyone should be able to figure out.

It would be best to contact BMM via comm channel to set up a contract. we give out our skype channel access to official contractors

just be warned right now, that ore mining in dublin has not been very productive at all, and it takes longer to mine in dublin than in any other system we have access to... well besides delta:P

Just another thing to point out: BMM and Bowex doesn't have to worry about supplying or protecting themselves in Delta. The BHG Core invited both of us there, are housing us on their base and have promised us protection with their local patrols.

The inRP reasoning for this happening is Bowex's fault. We paid the BHG to spy on OSI, because we wanted to know where they were getting the iridium they were delivering to us. This meant we got an inRP report on the entire route to FP11 and back. Bowex sent out a Clydesdale expedition to check if the route was safe, and ran into a BHG Core ship.

They're looking to secure their supply line, so they contacted Bowex with a contract for the delivery of goods. In exchange for the goods, we'd receive escorts and protection during our operations out that way, and access to their iridium fields. In order to get at those, we needed to involve BMM. Technically, we could have done it ourself because there's no mining yield bonuses for anyone on Iridium, but we felt it'd be better RP to call in BMM.

This also means a more diverse selection of players is involved. That's three factions instead of two. Five if you include the Corsair and Order interest this is going to draw. Maybe six if you bundle in the Zoners too. That's a lot more activity for what was otherwise a currently dead system.

In any case, the BHG doesn't really lose anything through this deal. If the Bretonians get wiped out, they shrug their shoulders and go back to their old supply sources. If it works, they've got a new supply line and they can unload various anti-Order propaganda onto the unsuspecting merchants, who'll willingly carry it home.

By all means, help stop this inRP. Station some Corsairs on Yarren, or something.
