All the while the cyber goth just stood there behind Miller with her arms crossed. Now and then her eyes shifting to the spying Dangen, but not really caring about his presence. She thought how it was kinda funny how things can change so quickly. Less than a year earlier Dave Synk would still have been her superior officer. Now she no longer obeys him, in fact if he was a wise man, he'd obey her in their current positions.

She wonders if he still recognizes her, Morrigan Black, former Cerberus agent...

Meanwhile, Hans is stressing about something completely different. Diner! Butlers and waiters all suddenly appear bringing various foods to the table in the main hall. Steak, sushi, shrimp (Hans' favorite combination to serve, the "triple S" as he calls it), potatoes, various vegetables and many bottles of wine.

As Daniels and Ravenov sat at the table and enjoyed various conversations ranging from military business to how their holiday went they saw that the butlers served the food at the buffet...

Daniels : Jackpot! Al right.... I'd like one of those. He pointed at a steak... Some chicken, some potatoes and hell, it's not everyday Eriksson's giving a party.

While he said that he put some vegetables on his plate, not something he did on a daily bases... When Eriksson's also filled he plate the two gentlemen sat down together again...

Daniels : What happened to Synk? I mean, what the hell are all those implants for, one might think the most extreme of scenarios. What if he is infected? I'd hate to give the kill order, but I would not see the body of an old friend desecrated by some jelly.

He finished the sentence with a grim look upon his face, a grim look indeed, but also a determined one.

Eriksson sat down and started eating when Joe spoke the word Synk.

"What? I didn't quite catch you there from all the waiters buzzing around"

"Erik. Where is Dave."

Ellie's arms were crossed, staring at the two Colonels.

"Dave? Dave who? I know several."

As Daniels just wanted to answer Eriksson's confusion Ellie already asked the question...

Daniels : Yeah, where's Dave? I'd still like some intel on his implants and where the hell he has been for the last couple of months.

Without waiting for an answer he cut a big piece of the steak and started eating again...

"I don't know which Dave you're talking about. The only Dave I think all three of us knew is, as the old saying goes, ten feet under. So which Dave are you talking about?"

Eriksson took a bite of cake on his fork which slowly approached his mouth.

Ellie was now glaring, sending her Death Glare at Eriksson.

Before miss Miller could've said anything he continued very relaxed but having a fixed look at her.

Dave : The last moments of my "normal" life were in Omicron Lost, where it all started. I created a prototype engine to break the space-time continuum field.... How it turned out I never could've expected... First the scanners were down, couldn't detect something. It was chaos, and I arrived into a dense particle cloud around a newly created star. The vessel got very damaged after escaping the chaotic space. I thought we made it, but later I discovered something terrible... we were several LY from the Nomad Dyson Sphere, but that is not the terrible part.... the terrible part was... *gazing into her eyes without a clip* it was torn into pieces. Triangulating the distance... we discovered that indeed, it was the system of the Sirius Dyson Sphere most of The Order knew of it. Then we knew... something was wrong...
