Well, Mal,

I've only just been able to get to the point of saying anything about this. I miss you so badly.

Our last Skype conversation shortly before your final lift off...

[23/10/2011 00:48:52] Mal: Lost ya here too.. you're just too hot tonight..
[23/10/2011 00:49:50] Mal: Well, I made Shasta.. and think I'll go plug in a movie i bought today. Make for Baffin, and we'll begin where we left off tomorrow, eh?
[23/10/2011 00:50:18] Mal: And I feel like gettin' ****faced for some reason. Viva Reposado! 23's!
[23/10/2011 00:51:32] Mad John: OK.. I'm at Reims.. See you at Shasta

Hope you enjoyed the movie and the tequila! See you at Shasta mate. 23's!

Mad John

The last thing I got from him was how he loved The Canaria Medical thread and how I tied it into the Med.Force.One threads. It was one of his favorite reads.

It's a shame I haven't got the pleasure to know him.

May he rest in piece! Another angel ascended

Doug was probably one of the best sods to tread across this doormat.
He was a magnificent bastard. One of the best. I'm so glad I got a chance to learn from him.

Even though I honestly have stopped caring about this place, I feel the need to make one last post here. This one actually hurts, gents. Those of you who knew me well know I don't exactly grasp that whole emotional thing the rest of you seem to be decent at.

Well, I cried after hearing this, for the first time in six years.
I guess that's all I need to say.

The Forum Furry comes out of Retirement for this one.

Mal was a pal, and a big inspiration, both in my RP, and In all of my writings.

He was one of the first guys I met, infact. Him, Kindred, and old BulldogNK. He was a really great guy and I wish him the best of peace.

23's Mate. Woof woof.

Some say that he is allergic to a fungus found only between the toes of Corsairs,
and that he is oblivious to 98% of Liberty Law. All we know is...

He's called the Busdriver!

Malaclypse was probably the best guy here on the server, I remember a 3 hour long roleplay with him in Baffin, I'll never forget that. Rest in peace man, I'm sure that you was a nice guy even in real life, like on the server, even if I never knew you personally.

I hope that the world is better where you are now.

Ah, my old friend. I did summersaults and cartwheels around the Geode in Baffin the other night before making my landing on Baffin. Part of me was looking for your cave, part of me just wishing I could chat with ya. Space just isn't the same, truly.

On another note... to any that care, I forwarded this thread on to the family you all send your feelings out for, and let them know fully that here he will stay, in spirit, in walls of text, and in many peoples hearts.

Just to let people know.

I knew Mal very well. I knew he had made a huge inpact here in Discovery. Yet, I am often still shocked at how many people have responded to this, much less how many views it has gotten. It really makes me happy to know that I am in such great company, and part of such a great community that when such things happen, someone that was quite often misunderstood in real life, hell in many of his writings here too (he lost me as many times as you, the only difference is I have a copy of the Book...what book? The Principia Discordia of course. That only helped sometimes and to an extent.) but managed to have such a positive effect on so many people. Even ones he often argued with, had heated debates and had even cussed out a couple of you, still we are all here, together as a community.

For that I respect all of you, appreciate all of you, and love you all as an extended family. Its things like this that have gone missing in life, society, and the world as a whole. It just is one more reason I haven't ever truly left Discovery. Probably never will. One day I will join Mal, and I will get to hear his thoughts again, and I plan to make sure he got all this. Thanks again.
