Originally Gheis Mace from the first character I created in the first Knights of the Old Republic game. I liked it and so I started using it. If I hadn't, I probably would've been TriforceGhost or something silly like that.
Then I went all new age and dropped the "surname". Now I'm just Gheis. Rhymes with ice, but everyone seems to get hung up on the pronunciation more than I do.
Dont know ..
Friends gave me that nickname long time ago.
They told me that it has something in common of music, my car and my driving style
Oh....
My name was chosen for me as in a predominantly American clan - I helped found a European division in BF1942 which then moved to Star Wars Battlefront and then Halflife2 Deathmatch.
The American's thought it quite funny at the time to call me "The Haggis Boy".
Or you can say... Once upon a time, some 6 years ago, I got just too bored sittin in classroom listenin to some boring teacher yabbling his head off that I started playin around with my RL name and that's what came out, so I've been using it as my nickname around the web ever since.
