Uhh... If you have the Lane Hacker Guard ID/IFF for the battleship then you're a Lane Hacker Guard and don't need permission from your own faction.

The only faction with access to the Spyglass Battleship (apart from the Hellfire Legion) at this point in time are the Lane Hackers. You must have a Lane Hacker Guard ID, (and Lane Hacker or Lane Hacker Guard IFF) in order to purchase the Spyglass. Since your character is a Lane Hacker, Lane Hacker Battleship Turrets are open to use.

If you're not a Lane Hacker, you're doing something wrong.
