Right, so...there is a very bright console message that flashes right through the middle of my screen every minute or so....
Could we get that frequency reduced?
Its almost as distracting (and aggravating) as Bulldog speaking to a specific person in universe chat.
Also, is there any possibility of moving it to a more peripheral part of the screen?
The dead-center-ness of it....*wants to gouge eyes out*

On the other hand... when I was new (and I have a friend that just started out) we both watched the console messages to make sure we didn't miss important rules or anything.

I don't think that they are a bad thing... universe chat... maybe, console messages, no.

I dunno...I feel compelled to read them....and...they happen all the time...maybe they could be moved to a corner some where?

i hardly notice them anymore...i know i've missed several server reboot messages. later i find out that they had given tohe two warnings before the shutdown.

i guess i get a bit zoned in :)

Uhh if you see em like dead center of the screen you got problems...I only see em in the chat channel. thus ignoring em most the time...

I think maybe it would be dead center because she has the contacts panel open, the messages seem to appear above that panel, I could be wrong.

Even with my contacts panel closed, they start left center on the screen, and stretch all the way across....
My point is, they are distracting, and impair my immersion, and I would like to see them moved out of my center screen...

for me they only appear on the very left side, never stretching past like 1/3 of the screen - but i play in 1600x1200 .. maybe thats why

You running freelancer at low resoultion?
That'll probably make them stretch across the screen, only way to fix that is to turn up the res a bit.
