Forgot how to enjoy Skyrim ?

I never use fast travel but considering Tamriel is quite scaled down if you wish to truly RP Skyrim you won't touch the time scale.

Both Skyrim and Cyrodiil are say about 30 square kilometers. That makes a total of what 60 square kilometers. So as horses are faster than McLaren MP4-12 you can run that in about an hour. Now considering that the climate changes from tropical to arctic in such a small area leads to two conclusions either Nirn is smaller than Pluto or the super obvious one that everything is indeed scaled down. Now, if everything is scaled down, time should indeed flow faster. Thus traveling between two distant downs takes days, not minutes. I want to see the super medieval horseman who managed to take the distance between London and Edinburg in 1 hour, and still this is an analogy with a single country not a whole continent.
That said... The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall took place in High Rock and Hammerfellm and they were
161,600 square kilometers which is half the size of Great Britain. Now, considering that High Rock and Hammerfell are about 1/4th of Tamriel we can make an estimate that it's territory is something like 600,000 square kilometers which is roughly the size of France. You can't cross France in 1 or 2 hours with a car let alone with a horse. So timesc.....WHAT THE HELL AM I ON ABOUT!

The game is awesome... I've already made a few other chars too, and, well, certain clothes looks better on certain races/genders. I like all the stuff in the game, I guess a bit more armors would be better, but I wouldn't like to complain, so the game is good except some bugs... It was worth waiting for it.

The story is amazing, still I have some problems with the Legion. They have a poor questline with same missions, nothing extra. And cannot control other legionaries, lets hope some talented guys will make the right mod for it...

What do you mean, more armors? There're more armor types than in Oblivion.

Just thinking of base craftable armor types and not different styles, there's at least 11 or 12...

Just installed this and I have -no- idea what I'm doing :lol:

I've never played this type of 'hug the elfs and cuddle the trees' game before. I'm running around cutting down people left and right and I get lost every single time. Why the hell are there consequences for my actions? What kind of a sick realism is this? Im used to Metal Gear solid reality where guerds dont even bother checking out who just kicked their asses from behind.

and why is menu navigation such a female dog?

anyway, to the point. is there any way to get some type of fast short swords? I have 2 normal imperial swords now, dual wielding. but I wanz has faster combos if possible. so, is that posisble?

I just went full baka with the console commands and after I tcl'd to take nice aerial pictures of skyrim imagine my surprise- what you see from up high isn't just skyrim. There are good 1/3 of Cyrodiil including the White gold tower and a very large portion of morrowind including the red mountain. What do you think, placeholders for DLCs or Easter eggs left for modders to develop?

Lol. I think it's funny when a non-elder scrolls junkie plays an elder scrolls game.. Alas, i will help you. Yes. Yes you can have faster combos.

Three nights played without fast-traveling. Works for me, thou extremely tempting. Unlimited werewolf transformation ring helps. I really need the mod to disable it altogether. Thou I miss the first day of grinding for 100 speed, acrobatics and athletics. :)
