You're doing it wrong. Allow yourself to get distracted.

I'm about halfway through the main quest. I decided to make a side-trip and found the mages college because I wanted more spells. So I started doing those quests - now I'm about half-way through one of the dungeons there, and I decided to make a side-trip to Riften. Now I find myself starting the thieves guild quest line, since I found out about this funky gem I found earlier.

Go wander - and you CAN fast travel, it doesn't hurt anything, especially if you're finding yourself making multiple trips back and forth to the same place.

Yay! I found a dog and it's now tagging around with me, killing my enemies. (sun)

Fights like a pro, too. That little bastard could take on a bear and live through it. He fought several vampires at once, actually and managed to survive. Badass pup.

I prefer turning into a Werewolf and making everyone run like crazy...

Wish I'd never met that dog.

On another note...

Ok, this is strating to get funny I have to admit. I've notched down on the random decapitation of people and Ive actually started listening to what they say before hacking their heads off.

Now I have some female slave following me around who carries all my stuff. Let 2 giants into a stormcloack camp and went *trollface* as stormcloacks were smacked into orbit. Offed 2 dragons now and nicked some quite good gear from right under the nose of some dragon priest then jumped down the mountain before he could incinerate me.

Currently Im running around some woods with my slave chick hacking away at bandits and assorted evil doers like a boss.

Yes, im starting to like this game. i may just strat frapsing my 'epic adventuring' (meaning: my hopeless bumbling and fooling around)

Because I'm expecting to get a new video card for Christmas so that my PC will play the game. Otherwise it'd be a moot point. I made that mistake with Oblivion - bought it for a marginal PC and did NOT enjoy it on the PC.

Also because I'm waiting until the Creation Kit is released.
