While I can see that this may be confusing to those who have not seen this, the Kruger tag was added to prevent confusion with the rheinland military ships in normal operations. As outlined in the role play between the rheinland military and Kruger, the two gunboats are protecting kruger miners in the upper omega-7 region.

As we had in the beginning, without the tag, these gunboats were continuosly called up to hamburg, new berlin, and anywhere to support. This did not suit the roleplay outlined for these ships. So everyone would easily see RNC-Blitz and RNC-Donner's principal mission, they were tagged.

Anything more that needs answering?

Ps. Quite funny that the only people complaining about this are the people who are the main target for Thunder and Lightening (For those that do not know the translation of Donner and Blitz).

Why do you think you can break the rules just because what you're doing makes sense to you? I even quoted Igiss' post on faction rules stating you cannot do what you are doing.

It's somewhat amusing though, I asked Gheis to come into the thread as an admin. He said nah, I had already covered it well enough when I quoted Igiss. I told him, that like everytime a faction is presented with evidence of breaking the rules, they'd ignore it.

So yeah, /summon Gheis.

Anyway, Geeky, the factions' rules are crystal clear. you can't use the Kruger| tag, since it belong to the official faction, thus effectively making it part of the official faction and then in contradiction with the factions' rule.

Good lord, guys. Do I have to spell it out?

If a ship is wearing the tag assigned to your official faction, it is considered a part of that official faction.

If a ships is part of an official faction, it must comply with the requirements listed on the primary ID, or be within the regulations established by the faction writeup as approved at time of officialdom for those certain special cases.

The only time a secondary ID can be used is when it is approved by the administration, and the only IDs that are eligible for use as secondary are generic IDs. Freelancer, Mercenary, et cetera.

The administration hasn't approved special cases for Kruger. No secondary ID has been approved, and will not be approved for a RM ID. Which means all ships associated wearing a Kruger tag and associated with the Kruger faction should be wearing a Kruger ID. The current Kruger ID doesn't allow for Gunboats.

The simplest solution is to just untag the gunboats, guys, and run them as RM indies.

Now maybe one of you can explain me some things.
I found this one when flying around the BS in Stuttgart.
The whole Interaction took more then 10 minutes, so 'being afk just to get a cup of coffee' doesnt really qualify as an excuse.

Maybe a helpful suggestion. If the RNC tag causes these boats to be called to the Rheinland core worlds, and the Kruger| tag is not allowed in combination with anything but the Kruger ID, why not change it to something generic? ROF- - Rheinland Omega Fleet or sumsuch. We've had the WRF out there for some time as well, although as I recall that was more a Daumann thing at the time. Or just Kruger ID those boats now that the mercantile IDs allow the use of gunboats...

I think a far more relevant question is why you continued to have Kruger| tagged RM IDed ships after you were specifically told by an admin to discontinue the practice, as it violated server rules.

The blitz has seven and a half hours of activity in the past thirty days, and the Donner two and a half.
Thirty days ago is about twenty three days after you should have deleted/re-ID'ed/untagged the ships.

I have been trying to become more active in this faction, it being my only corporate one, but everytime I get on the forums it seems that something else crazy is happening...

I am barely getting an hour of time a week on my Kruger ships, if the faction tanks I hope I don't get smacked for it :(

Hey everyone, the two ships in question should now have Kruger IDs. So what is the problem now? Mind you, since the new release, Kruger is allowed to use GBs, so all this because they had the wrong ID on them, even though they were allowed to do everything they did by both IDs?
