Oh..... expect a "Selling tons of CAU7/8s thread" on the 30th then:(

I do not think numbers matter as much as weapon type in 4.86. Last i heard there is a whole new system being put in place for cap weapons.
As in so many "main guns" so many "secondary guns" so many "anti fighter/torp guns"

well that did two things 'mostly' anwsered my question and made me even more exited:yahoo::yahoo:
the ONLY effect a 2 weapon ship has over a 1 weapon ship is that it might mount two different weapons - but also has to pay for 2 weapons. - no one said that 2 weapons cover the same arc - so you may end up paying for 30 weapons - but having less firepower than 10 weapons:Pbefore.
about restrictions:
to make it clear again ---> those that are willing to work for their special gear - will get it. what do we care if you have a tag or not? - just cause you have a tag before your name doesn t mean you ought to have something - and just cause you do not have a tag doesn t mean you don t.
now - if a single person says "but what i need to do is a 24 hours job for a single person" - well... THAT is tough luck! - maybe you can pay someone to assist you.... hehe ( gives traders and other independents more purpose )
about unmounting stuff and preparing for 4.86:
yes - on some ships it "might" be good to unmount them before. - i m not 100% sure about it now. - but i think that unmounting it should suffice ( and don t undock just to get shot down with your unmounted cau8 ! )
last update - some ships got stuck with a cau8 - which couldn t be remounted - but the admins helped out in that case - so no worries.
