THREE pulse turrets and THREE hull cracking battle razors, a cheap armor upgrade(if your using your armor you probably already lost in this boat). Once you have that? Make sure you have good rep in junker bases and Pirate in New york.
Nothing like holding up a trader with half the lolwutnavy just a lane away. And the knowledge that any fight you win is won with pure untouched, skill(and possibly alot of luck).

The correct way to pirate
It's got a small profile and handles well but it is a bit underpowered. Play as a vigilante, use hit and run tactics.
CTE Freighter
Give it cap4 armor, 6 debs, 2 canonballs, and a nuke. Play it as a slaver and attack large transports for crew.
Tigershark
Play it as "Lector So-n-so", give it a pirate, merc, or slaver Id and roleplay overthrowing the Rhineland government to set up your own militaristic theocracy. Alternatively you can play as "Father such-n-such and fly around Rhineland performing random exorcisms and demanding that your unwilling "patients" pay you for your service.
