Turrets on both cap ships removed and stored.

I can see myself logging on and taking a cap out.....without re-mounting the turrets.

Yeah - I can see that happening, too. I'm not as big a capwhore as some people out there (<strike>Cam</strike>) but it still took me a few minutes to go through them all last night and unmount everything, just to be safe. (I remember the fun last time when the cargo holds on our gunships got reduced just enough that we couldn't keep the Cap armors we had installed on them. NOT a fun time.)

My BHG Cattlebruiser had no issues putting all the turrets into storage, and the thing has Cap 8.

Just make a separate clean installation of vanilla Freelancer. Don't put Discovery v4.85 on that install. You won't even need FLMM.

I would make a backup of everything first. And essentially, yes.
