While you have a point, Ichthan, it is not entirely based in fact. The place in which one finds "fresh air" is known by many names: outside, outdoors, nature, among other things. Whatever it is called, it can indeed be dangerous, both to the body and the psyche. It can even kill...and would you believe it, no respawns?!

The system requirements are next to nonexistant; one needs only a leg or two with adequate musculature to support one's own weight to experience "fresh air" to a limited extent. The RECOMMENDED system specs however, are rather steep. One's central processing unit is recommended to possess a high quantity of adaptive processes, known in the vernacular as "common sense."

The rewards for running this dangerous, unpredictable program can be just as spectacular. The graphics, for instance, possess unprecedented realism. If you didn't know better, you might think it was all real! And the sound effects...while they can sound tinny at times, and the background music is disappointingly scarce, overall it delivers. Listen carefully, and you may hear the twittering of unseen birds in the trees, the distant roar of tires on pavement, and the faint rustling of the grass beneath your feet.

If you should dare to venture deep enough into this "outside", you might even encounter some NPCs. These NPCs vary widely in intelligence, interactivity, and experience level. You cannot level up, however, so wanton slaughter of NPCs is not recommended.

More to come on the subject in the future!

In all seriousness, I've been too busy to play much anyway.:PHopefully, by the time I'm able to devote more time to play, there will be a functioning server to play on.:)

Good God man! That giant three paragraphs of randomness is fantastic!

But unquestioningly at least a few of our thought processes. ( actually do like the outdoors, but not right now--too cold.)

I'm spending the rest of the year reading up on 'Machinima'

Inspired by the thread regarding the Outcast Film Studio, & just the fact it CAN be done in general...I plan to spend however long it's gonna take to create a "Plague Logs" movie.
